Lineage 1 is still around in Korea, If Tera actually succeeds in their console port, it may be around for years. And considering the cost of launching an mmo keeps rising and the potential profit keeps falling (even blizzard canceled the mmo they were working on), we are stuck with the games we have now. There are no new mmorpgs on the horizon that can break through.

Unfortunately, Tera is the best f2p action mmorpg with holy trinity and a decent population.

Basically there is no incentive to pvp and casual pvp (bgs) always had optimization issues so you can't expect people to queue into 20 fps bgs with poor rewards.. It's a shame because pve is really active but they don't care about pvp.

Oh hey I actually figured out what happened to all of my ouftfits, they were on my pet and I forgot there were pet inventory in this game.

Still don't know why all the dungeons that aren't KN/MC/AC/BT/SA are gone from my dungeons list.

Only 65s can engage in world pvp now. Low pevels cannot be attacked. This was to bring us more in line with KTERA. It's stupid and I hate it, miss ganking in Oblivion Woods.

They swapped starting zones for some reason I forgot. The rest of the game still treats it like you were at Island of Dawn though. First cutscene when you get out is still like "I heard what you did at the Island of Dawn." They don't really have an eye for detail unless it's slutwear.

Island of Dawn at 65 is fun though.

All dps are okay unless you're below a tank. With slayer buffs putting them above brawlers, you can play almost any dps class unless you're trying to parse runs.
