Not really. The dungeon they're introduced in is usually the point of their actual arc. All the S. Links are is showing how the character adapts to their new outlook on life, slowly.

It's not a perfect system, but it's not about characters making radical changes. Which I kind of like, as it's more true to how people actually react.
