It's the same thing on FFXIV. Raiding is pointless, Cash shop is starting to reach mobile gaming levels of garbage. The world is neglected so much it's almost pointless to have a world, The game would be the same if it was just a lobby you sat in queuing for dungeons and they have no plans on fixing it.

If you think grinding is bad in WoW just look at the current method of leveling in FFXIV

curse still a thing but they merged with twitch recently and it looks weird but it's still the main thing. Legendaries from many sources such as bosses/rares/chests. Relics are drops like any other piece of gear so depends on your class

Define "high". Usually you would get them by farming mythic+. If you can do mythic 10+ 3chest runs consistently you will get them consistently.

They can drop from anywhere but I think raids and mythic+ have higher drop chances. I got one from a broken shore bag I got for donating resources for a building.
