Last season I reached G1 as support/jungle, dropped back to G5. But I didn't care, got my welfare skin.
This season I got placed in high silver, and after many games of tilting I finally made it back to gold as jungle/top/mid.
Now I'm trying to get to gold in flex que. However, my rank in flex is S5 and I am matched against B5; of course I carry and win, but I can't help but feel disgusted and feeling bad for the enemy. I was once on the receiving end of these situations, should I feel bad? How do I avoid these feelings? I can't que up for flex knowing I'm going to ruin someone's day.

Is it me or is the lp system a little fucked? It feels like if you have one bad streak it's not possible to recover from. I was in a slump for a while but I've hit a solid win-streak and climbed 3 divisions in the last 2 weeks, but the lp gain pendulum can't catch up quick enough. Even with an 80% ranked winrate in the last few weeks I'm gaining 14-16lp a win and losing 22-26 per loss.

So real talk, why is this game as big as it is? I've played on and off since mid S4.
The games are individually unaccessable. Takes between 7 and 20 minutes to get into a game depending on luck. Champ select is too long. Dodging is a massive factor.
After champ select, you proceed to enter a 30~ minute game that is designed and balanced around being a team game (most champs slot into one of about 12 roles, each being fairly niche and not equally slotting into comps), but lacks basic team game functions like voice coms.
One player has the potential to completely throw a game and loose it for their entire team, forcing every player to suffer a MMR loss and que/champ select all over again.
If a player doesn't want to play the game anymore, they have the option to abandon the game (and can't reque until the game they left is over), forcing players to stay in potentially incredibly unfun games, essentially wasting their leasure time (because lets be real this is a game). So if they don't enjoy the game they're in, but want to continue playing, they can't.
To follow up on leaving, if you leave enough games, you're issued with an additional 20 minutes tacked onto your que time. So if you're not enjoying specific games, but enjoy the game as a whole, you're getting punished super hard.

Well you're right, the less someone blatantly outs for attention, the less specific information people have to identify them consistently.
But first off Bandle has been around for a while and we have a lot of information about her, like what she looks like, how she types, what her drawing style looks like, etc. so her identity as a member of this community is pretty well cemented.

I'm specifically talking about games where the game is 100% over by 12 minutes. 4/5 team members fed, and the one fed team member is playing a champion that requires team assistance to pop off in teamfights.
I'm not talking about toxic players who spam surrender when 3/5 lanes won, but they did poorly and cant contribute solo. Those players are cancer.
It's really standard in multiplayer games to be able to leave individual matches with only an MMR hit to yourself, MOBAs are the only exception to that rule.
