Probably not. Bot tower is still weaker early and Rift Herald is still tough to take early. There's likely to be little value in an early herald if it means the other team can just run a standard bot lane and get first tower gold.

I think herald will mainly offer an alternative route for teams trying to force down a stubborn mid tower held by a mage with strong waveclear.

I don't expect it, I can even win being camped. What I'm confused is the consistency. At least 80% of games, regardless of the state of top lane, their jungler throws himself at me until something works, and if it doesnt, they just bring more people. Its aggravating because the entire game basically comes down to whether or not my bot lane still manages to feed even then their supp has been pushing top for the last 5 minutes.

Sometimes I get a jungler who does other things, which is always great, but usually I have one who hasn't done jack shit. At that point I try to tell them the enemy is making risky plays top and we can probably get him some kills, but they never commit.

I'm not asking how to deal with being camped, that has happened so much I play around it now, even sometimes trying to draw attention because I know I can take it. What I don't get is that enemy top laners consistently find some way to get assistance even if THEY should be the one playing safe and waiting for mid/late, and no matter what I say or who I pick my jungler always has some excuse as to why he has better things to do.

I don't understand how people who are behind cs, xp, and kills manage to convince their team to help them when no matter what my situation is, junglers just don't help.

TLDR I'm asking about communication, not gameplay. There's obviously some way to get your team to help you even if you're way behind because more than half the tops I stomp still get infinitely more help than I get when I'm stomping.

Well first off Rammus' kit is a relic of a time where tanks used to actually auto attack for damage rather than being entirely reliant upon abilities. Hence why his taunt also gives armor reduction. Back in those days you'd just build Sunfire/Warmogs/Atmas and be set while also having more AD than your ADC. Also back then Attack Damage was literally that and AD scaling was few and far between as Ability Power was meant to boost your ability damage.

Now Riot's design is all over the place and they haven't quite cleaned up the loose ends.

1- So he can clear in the jungle somewhat effectively. Take into consideration his W has a long cd and is his only way of clearing, if on top of that his autos are absolute garbage then his clear would make him unviable as a jungler.
2- Gives him more incentive to build armor. Also his autos help him a lot when he's taunting someone with his W up, it adds to his damage. Against tanks/bruisers his autos will still do diddly, but when locking down a squishy adc it will help him do what he's meant to, which is kill them. Just taunting them for 2.5 seconds and hoping they lose their entire health bar with just thornmail + W damage is impossible.

Guilty as charged, at least sometimes. Maybe you can give me some input. Because I really don't get what exactly the correct or prefrerred approach is.

For a start whether one is asking for ganks and complaining about a lack of me ganking cannot be the standard, because on one hand you get top laners whom you never visit once and who neither complain nor even do badly, then you get top laners whom you camp nonstop for the first ten minutes and who will, in the two minutes you spend ganking bot and going for a drake, tell you you're not ganking their lane enough. As well as everything in-between these two extremes.

Of course, you can probably tell that this depends on how good/confident the top laner is. A good top laner is prepared for enemy ganks, survives them, and certainly doesn't blame enemy ganks on his own jungler. A bad one will do it the other way round. Now if you as the jungler come in, things get icky. Good top laners, the really good ones are never the problem, because they dominate whether the enemy jungler tries to help the enemy top or not. It's the average and bad ones that are the problem. Your time as a jungler is limited, time you spend visiting a lane is time you dont spend visiting another lane. Any gank that doesn't result in a secured kill is considered a failed gank, and generally, will be regarded as if you had never been there in the first place. So you pretty much have an incentive to only visit lanes with good laners. So if you have a top laner who dies, whether due to a gank or through simple feeding, you will already not want to touch top lane with a ten foot pole, because if the laner is bad, chances are he won't do shit when you gank and your gank will fail. Your time is better spent with bot lane, where the adc already got a double kill without you.

Played the first one on laptop, so in Blighttown I had like legit 5 FPS. But as I said I eventually got to the Kiln but still didn't beat up Gwyn to this day.

I streamed second DaS on new PC but only very few people who watched the first one stayed for the second. I finished DaS 2, but only base game, DLCs been too frustrating.

Yeah, that's how I see it. Yet the enemy jungler seems to always have a personal vendetta against me. I have far too many games where kill my enemies every time they gank me and yet they still come up every 2 minutes. Obviously I win those but I'm just baffled at how often the feeding enemy top gets completley babysat. It's like that guys ego is more important than the game

One time I got so sick of being ganked as Maokai I started dancing during a gank, they literally spent over a minute pounding on me when all I did was proc passive and never got me below 80%.

I get that people are retarded in this game so that alone doesn't surprise me. What I don't get is how the guy who is losing top can always get massive help yet if I ask for one visit or say I have a good freeze for a gank and can bait a fight, I get nothing.

I'm starting to guess it's the top laners you mentioned that ping constantly and cry if you aren't there 24/7, I guess some junglers just go for appeasement.

That actually makes sense now that I think about it, because so many top laners are stoic and don't communicate at all, when a top laner asks for a gank junglers (understandably) assume it's whining instead of a rational descision. Really good top laners basically don't ask for ganks, so people associate any request for help with you being shit. Really frustrating though.

Who do you play? Do you already have a small champ pool or do you spread your games around? If I was going to do this, I'd go with one tricking a champ in my main lane, one that can provide outplays or fun viewing. You can add to the value there by going off meta. I'd go Nocturne mid (not actually AP noc) because i like him. But you gotta just play that because you're not going to be providing solid diamond play or knowledge so you have to be good enough on your chosen champ to provide entertainment. Have others for different roles or bans but legitimately put work in on who you pick and git gud.
