I think the no ally KO is impossible on the Ariana event without being able to tank 3 hits from her Dissonant Voice. I'll try again when I have a Marie friend active so that I can cast Shellga or give up on the No Abilites achievement and use my Cecil to Focus and let my Mages blow her away. That summon ticket is more important than 5% more TMR on any unit.

I at least managed to get the Dangerous Ariana materia so I don't have to use her anymore which is good since she is way too fragile to take 3 consecutive hits from Dissonance anyways.

Gonna bring Cecil with dispel (no dualcast), Minfilia on Dark>Fire>Water shield rotation, Yshtola, Xon to steal all those buffs and Lightning on Iffrit. Planing on using an Olive friend + Lughtning Crushing blow to kill Iffrith first since I dont thing I can survive enraged Iffrit.
Dont see how to sustain Minfilia´s MP though unless I just slap a Vestment of Mind on her while my team slowly chips at Iffrit to build esper bar.

Relm and OK are sources of medica (group healing); OK is fixed based on max% HP, while Relm should be curaga strengh. Arc's SSB1 is fine to use at the start of battle, and saves you an ability slot that would've been needed for Shellga. Krile's is good for boosting magic and haste for the group (faithga & hastega). Relm, Arc, and Krile overlap with major regen - it isn't a bad thing to be overlapping on though.

By "gauntlet", do you mean Zell's Crystal Glove (which was on one of the the 2nd anniversary banners)? Zell has another relic named Gauntlet which is rather old. Either way, both of those relics gives him some form of self-buffs. He is the odd man out with the others though.
Onion Kid is potentially another odd man out too, due to the gimmick & all the shit needed for him to reach his potential. Go farm his motes in the FF III enigma dungeons while they're around. You might as well try to level him up there too. Keep in mind that you'll need his MC3 if you really want to use the SB you have for him; current stats won't be shit until after lv. 93 or so. Maybe not the best relic to start investing into OK on though.

As far as pulling on whatever, have you looked at the banner shit in the OP? Did you see anything there of interest or what? Due to the OK thing FF III banner #2 might be worth a look too. All of his relics will be on that banner (his BSB being the "best" one to get), but beware of the dupe issue you have with his staff.
Please try to check if you see something that you might really want though. We have 6 months of foresight, so being able to save up for some future relic desired is pretty nice.

It seems like a retarded idea since Relm's healing is probably enough, but OK can wrath or lifesiphon, which lets him heal more often with blowback. But to unlock those would require a major investment in motes, and I'm not sure it would be worth it without the BSB.

Arc's Renewing Rains is probably more useful for it's magic blink than anything else, although you need to know well in advance you're going to need it because of the charge time.

Onion Kid's staff also provides 5x AoE Non-Elemental damage along with the percentage heal. Honestly it doesn't sound so shabby of a soul break, except for all the shit needed to get him powered up. Support 5* is definitely the way to go when first diving OK. Only two of OK's job motes are needed for that; the problem then lies in regular motes. A lot of sources for 3* motes that are around now, so that helps for the first sphere. They might have to wait until they get strong enough to go for 4* motes (mote dungeons, apocalypse raid carries).

Instant medica & PBlink on Arc's SSB2 probably doesn't help the comparison with his SSB1 and setting up MBlink. It'd be good for them to go get Mako Might/Dr. Mog's Teachings now. It'll certainly help to get Renewing Rains going at the start of a battle to truly save a slot for Shell(ga).

OSBs are sort of tough to use on their own, and while the weaponst themselves are great I don't know how much use you'll get out of the soul breaks long-term. They'll do plenty of damage with normal moves.

OK probably needs his BSB to get the most ouf him, so yeah, it'd be a good idea to go for it if you want to use him. Deployment Tactics is a good buff, but Alphinaud doesn't have a good way to refill it.

OK CAN use breakdown stuff if you invest in him, but since he has a lot of utility it's probably better that you set someone else up as support. You might draw some relics for support characters later on, then you can decide what to use.

You'll probably need a real medica too, so trying to pull on OK's banner for Arc's Word of Kindness would help a lot. You have a risk of a dupe on the armor, but there are almost always one or two duplicates on any decent banner.

Alph's SSB offers two things: a buff to your ATK & MAG stats, and something referred to as Radiant Shield. When that is up, it'll reflect damage the party takes and turns it back onto the enemy. There are a few downsides to it - stoneskin bubbles (a shield to absorb damage up to 30% of a character's max HP) will clash horribly with RS. Damage can only be reflected as long as the character doesn't die, and at only reflects damage at a max of 9999 HP. Important to keep everyone healed as close to max with this active. Having some really low HP like 300 reflected back towards enemies doesn't quite help vs someone getting hit for 4k with the enemy getting damaged for 4k. The reflect damage mechanic is something to get used to, so no worries if you don't get it yet.

I did 4 runs to get everything. I had to do three runs just to get every mission accomplished. First one gave me the Encore Materia and the 100 Lapis clear. Next run gave out the Summon Ticket while the last run got me the no abilites clear for the 5% Moogle.

I also just cleared the Dark Espers trial in one go as well after 2 failure attempts. I ran Minfilia, Y'shtola, Snow, and Cecil with a 950+ ATK Ifrit Memelandu friend. Everyone of them had around 30% resistance to Dark, Fire, and Water except for Minfilia who only had 5% to Fire and Water each with 55% to Dark due to Diablos. Now I can enjoy a 736 ATK Lightning and a 611 MAG Dark Fina until the Irene banner comes around to burn all my Lapis and Tickets on.

Yeah, the relics I have allowed me to build a fire mage team (OK, Arc, Fran, Papalymo, Krile) that's been able to consistently clear D180, so I'm good while I wait for opportunities to roll for my five favorite characters. Thinking about trying to raise up a physical team with OK, Arc, Fran, Ramza and Fang on the side.

Yeah, Celes' OSB is my only relic for her, only one for my fave five too. I didn't care about getting it, I wanted her SSB and BSB off that banner, especially since the OSB's gimmick is its power increases based on how many magic attacks she's taken (absorbed ones from runic count of course). I'm really looking forward to her BSB2, I hope that's not part of the VI event that comes shortly after Cloud's USB since I'm going all in on that VII event.

I ran a Queen with Diablos and she hit for about 2800 per hit on the Voice Spirit with normal attacks. If she was properly geared for ATK, I'm sure that she would have hit for a little bit more than that. But I ran Queen just as an alternative for both Thundaga chains and emergency Curaja. The rest alternated between Refia, Y'shtola, Exdeath, and Ariana with one run swapping Ariana for Dark Fina since she had better HP than Ariana.

It's sad that people resort to this. So you didn't luck out and get the win button, so what? Everything can still be cleared without Orlandu if you put the effort in and he's just the first in a long line of amazing 5* bases so you'll have plenty of opportunities to get something around his level of power. Sure it can get a little annoying when it feels like everyone other than you is having an easy time but you're not gonna accomplish anything by trying to shit all over those who are luckier than you, spend that time on dealing with actually solving your problems.
