Basic weapon attacks that have hyperarmor/poise are any ultra class weapon including curved greatswords one-handed and two-handed, and the two-handed attacks of greatswords, halberds and hammers. The Greatlance is also the only pike-class weapon with poise on its two handed R1s and R2s.

Beyond that over half WA in the game has poise on it at some points in its animation.

i get instant action at Sl 15 +2. my favorite spot is ambushing the party at the burning trees, with the village harvesters and the fat lady. a poison bandit's knife is good, has innate bleed, and quickstep is mighty useful for maneuvering through 2-3 R1 spammers

i personally find poison very useful. just accept it's a trickling of damage and keep applying pressure. i've killed hosts through poison after having died, and i've had people run behind trees and idle, obviously rushing through their menus for poison moss. in these cases it's a free backstab. noobs freak out over poison, others won't.

Vagrants, "Drift Items". DaS1 has a mechanic for dropped items. If you drop certain items in your world, sometimes they will travel to other players' worlds. This is why you can sometimes find random dropped items. Once they have made enough hops between worlds they become those crab things.

Turn and burn, use corners. If you need space to get stamina back/chug right straight by them. They always assume you're going to attack and panic roll away. Do both. You should porbably have at least pure str, qality and some fai build (dex/fai?) to have most of fun from pvp. Take a note that int and pure dex builds are not so fun.

I'm saying smurfing is the wrong word, you retard.
Smurfing can really only apply to games with a rank structure like CS:GO.
To get a high rank you need to be incredibly skilled, so when that incredibly skilled person creates a new account, they purposely do poorly in placement matches to make that new account be placed in a low ranking, where it will face other low ranking players.
That skilled player then proceeds to shit stomp the low skilled players. The new account is called a "Smurf Account".

In DaS anyone, regardless of skill, can level up at basically any time, so you can be shit at the game and be SL 120.
What you're talking about is a Twink, or a person who specifically stays low level, but either plays through the game or gets handed high tier equipment through trading, and proceeds to invade at those low levels.

But there's also a thing called upgrade memory in DaS 3, so if a +10 weapon even touched that guys world, he could ONLY invade/be invaded by people who have had anywhere from +8 to +10 on a weapon.

Not only were you beaten by one of the shittiest weapons in the game, you were beaten by one of the shittiest weapons in the game with an incredibly low upgrade number and scaling damage.

Looking for someone on PC with more free time than common sense.

Does the Perseverance buff you can get from the Crucifix WA actually reduce your damage? I seem to take as much as I do without it up.
