Alright I finally got to this infamous fight between Ryuji and Morgana and I don't understand how anybody can claim it's Ryuji's fault when this is how it goes down

All of it happens because of Morgana's massive insecurity and need to prove himself, and he still insults Ryuji more than Ryuji insults him in this cutscene. Morgana was also whining anytime someone praised Futaba for taking down Medjed and getting the data from Sae. Ryuji also needs to refocus and get a grip on their actual goals as Phantom Thieves, but Morgana stirred all that shit almost completely by himself.

It's also kinda bullshit that Morgana is all for the unanimous decision rule, but then gets pissed the first time the group actually needs to follow it. That said, I actually still fucking love both Morgana and Ryuji even after that scene, and they definitely seem like far better friends after their reunion, so it feels worth it in the end. Not to mention it feels fitting since Morgana bring insecure is hardly out of nowhere and he's been toward with the Confidant scenes he had and the nightmares. The whole rogue Morgana + Haru shit was fantastic too.

A lot of people seem to hold a grudge against Ryuji over the fact that he was loud enough for Makoto to hear him and learn their identities, and cast unfair amounts of blame on him for other stuff because of that. But frankly I don't know how people can actively hate Ryuji, not with the characterization he gets regarding his past.
