I'm not sure about that. Half the time, she only gets to use it very late into the fight and sometimes she doesn't even get to cast it even if I use it on her first move. She's just too slow. Even if she returned moves, there won't be time to make use to them. It's okay that it depletes all her actions but maybe it should be casted without preparation for it to be good.

in that game it wasn't exactly an option. hornet was down to her last territory by turn 15 and was in such a bad shape she wasn't even attacking. Was winning a couple defenses but kayblis was winning too.

so I did the only thing anyone who played KR would do. I neutralized hornet and threw myself at kayblis in a attempt to relieve some of the pressure.

You can also get Merchant from the students, funny enough, but the Amazing Old Men are actually useful aside from that. I think it's theoretically possible to make the students useful, but basically only if you mod them so that the RNG is rigged in favor of utility commanders.

Things that make the game "easier":

- Made loading saves faster if you don't hold ctrl
- The prison is now unlocked automatically without spending a fan.
- You have at least 9 points to spend for 1-star or higher games and the third action fan only costs 9 points (compromise. playing 1-star or higher until you get three actions is hell on earth unless you're following a guide)

Things that make the game "harder":

- Niwa's starting troop count has been reduced to 380
- Ranmaru's starting troop count has been reduced to 300
- True generics (such as the ones from "Force a student to become a commander") now cannot have "Asset tech".
- The search/construct/negotiate stats of true generics are now independent of eachother. Before, there was a 50% chance for a random one of them to have a random boost. Now there's a 1/6 chance for each of them independently to have that random boost. This slightly reduces the chances of having any boost, but allows generics to theoretically have good search/construct/negotiate skills, and allows them to not be completely worthless.

Incredibly minor changes that only affect early game OCD.
