I really don't get Japan.

Why is student to teacher relationship so fucking terrible (evil), provided it's a late teenager and not a kid.

The only actual complaint I have about P5 is the pacing feels kind of shitty, they spend a long time leading up to Futaba's palace and Haru joins way too late and Akechi could have been cut out completely or been a total side character.

Just started the game--two questions:

It seems like, with regard to 1 and only 1 enemy, I should ALWAYS be holding them up, and never killing them, since the XP is the same, and the $ earned is greater. Is this the case?

Also, how do I level up Personas? Must I have them equipped on Joker at some point during the battle, or do all my Personas gain XP automatically?
