Jades are good to run. Early game weapon, removal for mid sized minions or 4-8 damage of burst, plus aya means you only use 5 slots on jades so your elemental curve is still pretty strong because of firefly/igneous. Plus adding all those cards helps you in the long game by curving to 6/6. I've seen variants where people run the 7 mana taunt jade guy, but stone sentinel and aya just seems better.

Could have been a nice anti-aggro card. The thought process was there. Unfortunately nobody at team 5 realized that pirate warrior already has a 5/3 fiery win axe by the time you play it. A better anti-aggro card would have been something like "gain x attack when attacking into minions". As it is now, they can just wait until they get arcanite reaper and kill it without losing board, and you can't use it on your turn to trade with anything but patches or deckhand.

Has anyone tried the mage quest with a non-combo more midrangey build? The extra tun would just be a powerful late-game play. Or is this dumb? I don't actually have it to test anything.

Warrior quest is just win condition for stalling the game.
Basically took Wallet warrior and made it more aggressive by actually wanting board presence before turn 12.
If you don't curve as hard as your opponent you lose, though. Sulfuras does fuck all for you when you're sitting at 12 health with an empty field.

Mage is the most consistent so far, only loses for sure if ALL of your discover effects pull you useless shit.

Still that's pretty on point except for Warlock being above paladin. Warlock quest is garbage, playing voltron in hearthstone is just a bad idea when you get the same effect by shitting out murlocs without the risk of them getting completely fucked over by silence or bounce effects, Galvadon is a huge threat 80% of the time, other time it refuses to give you anything except Windfury, Elusive and Stealth.

Small Time Recruits is probably not worth crafting or running over Divine Favor. Unless you're playing a weenie handbuff deck, but they're pretty bad.

I know some pre-Un'Goro aggro murloc decks were running Small Time Recruits in addition to Divine Favor, but they were also running handbuff and extra 1-drops which is not necessary now.

Vilefin Inquisitor and Megasaur are the epics you want.

It's definitely not tier 1 and doubtful it will be, we're talking about paladin here.

He's a crazy strong finisher/comback/value/everything minion and kinda the whole point of the playing elementals in shaman. You can still discover him with Servant of Kalimos though, and Blazecallers are usually what win you most games.

I hear elemental mage is pretty strong, and doesn't many legos, but I've never build one myself.

Azure drake is (was) one of the most balanced cards in the game. A 5 mana 4 4 limits you but also gives you a card and spell damage. It hardly turns the tide and just cushions out decks. They could just as easily made anything better but instead banned it. That's been their whole philosophy and it sucks. Same goes with Sylvanas and Rag.

Versatility doesn't make something broken, power levels do. They're two different things.

Each class has a few cards that are so versatile that running a deck without them is just stupid. Innervate, Arcane Intellect, Preperation, etc... None of them are broken, just solid effects that every deck can use.

Someone needs to explain to me why the average /hsg/ player hates wild..

Why?

- There's more deck variety
- Its easier to play all the classes, so easier to do your quests
- It balances itself. Yes there old broken stuff, but there's new broken stuff as-well so in the end, its actually more "balanced" than standard. You also have more tools do deal with whatever is popular.
- You can play with what you have, meaning that you can have 0 cards of the most recent expansion and still make good decks
- You can play your favorite deck forever (and tweak it after each new sets)
I could go on, I dont understand. You guys are usually laughing at people who buy packs and whatnot, but wild is the best place to stay f2p if you've been playing for a while. Are people who shits on wild new players that simply cant play there?

I just dont get it bros, I've been playing wild for months and I would never go back to standard.

I understand why people hate that azure drake is banned.
It's a neutral card that saw play everywhere, this makes decks cheaper because if you don't have that rare neutral, you're gonna have to use cards that will only see play in that particular deck.
Also it doesn't look that threatening in games if you don't look closely, 4/4 +1 spell damage, and "draw a card" doesn't look that huge for people who don't have experience with other card games.
But it's still justifiable from the perspective of creating a more interesting and diverse metagame.
