I'll go on a limb and say that every single hidden shrine is probably mentioned by at least one NPC someplace. The only one that might not receive an immediate quest from talking to the NPC is the one on Eventide. If you are cleaning out all the quests in each village, you will catch most of the shrines in there too.

They're his clothes from when he was younger, years before The Calamity. The Champion's Tunic is what he wore when The Calamity happened, and it still fits. All of the clothes kept their condition. The clothes were shitty and ragged already 100 years ago. Mipha talks about how Link was a rough and tumble person who kept getting hurt. The hero isn't known for his hygiene and fashion sense.

Towns should have stables included. Or at least the ones that make sense. Not Gerudo or Goron, and the Rito one's stable is just a Paraglide away, but Zora's Domain, Hateno, Kakariko, Tarrey, and Lurenin should have their own.

It you want a natural landscape, towns should show up a building at a time near some useful structure that people can't avoid having. A farm or a stable would have other things built near it, and then more things show up, and more, until a whole town is there.

From what we see in the game however, towns are projects that are planned in advance, branching out from some other town. Stables claim to be part of some intentionally crafted system to put them in convenient places.

Zelda isn't necessary for Hyrule to continue. It could have been the same deal as WW's ending where Zelda basically finds peace and entrusts the future to the new generation.

This sort of ending would have made even more sense if they played up more how foolish Zelda, Rhoam, and basically everyone pre-calamity was to put all their faith in old misunderstood technology. Would give her a lot to ruminate on and sum up an overarching moral for the game in a final monologue.

Does this game better?

I've been playing it for a 5(ish) hours and it just feels like a chore so far. The combat is simplistic and there doesn't seem to be anything worthwhile to find outside of some ebin collectables or more degradable weapons to break on the same easy as fuck enemy types.

Do you even find armor throughout this world? Because so far all i've found are a few boring Shrines and encampments that have literal trash in them (Opals or some shit).

And what the fuck are with these side quests?

HOW DO I GET MORE THAN 23 POINTS AT THE MOUNTED ARCHERY RANGE?

I've used 5-shot Lynel Bows, bomb arrows, tried on both the white horse and giant horse (white horse felt easier to use), and even jump and fire in slow motion for the end. Getting the Knight's Saddle just impossible. I've tried for hours. Turning the gyroscope on doesn't help and it makes everyone get more out of whack the more I have it on. I wish that the Wii sensor bar was usable on the Switch. Precision pointing and shooting is easier than using analog sticks.

Just beat Ganon, and boy were people over exaggerating about the boss being bad, and the ending being lame.

Spider was a lot of fun and the design was pretty fucking cool.

Pig was an amazing design, sure the fight wasn't anything close to challenging but is was enjoyable as hell. Some good fun.

Seeing Epona be there ready for me to get on was pretty awesome.

I think the Claymore is given to very high ranking and skilled Gerudo fighters and it's possible Buliara can actually use every Gerudo weapon with equal proficiency. Also having yet another spear wielder would make Buliara look less unique

Romance crap would be them kissing or hugging at the end or walking of hand in hand. Worse yet would be if the Deku let Zelda speak and she said "I love him". This is as subtle if not more subtle than Skyweard Sword

Which is why I'm saying this would be better. Heck this game already has several characters thinking and saying they are in love. The only thing it lacks is the characters themselves saying it themselves and at least on Zelda's part she would've said it had she not been cut off and her actions suggest at least physical attraction.

If they were going for voice acting they should've gone for it. This half assed approach is disappointing. It'd be better to just go back to 100% written dialogue
