If this player has hundreds of hours on reaper then no, this is not necessarily impressive.

The direct stats like average elims and deaths and such are far more indicative of a player's overall skill than time played or even w/l

It was a magical time, an oasis of brotherhood and camaraderie in the desert of salt and toxicity. Pharah is an ult battery.

She can't get into range to ensure kills, so the little chip damages she does the to the enemy team are going to be healed off by the enemy supports and they'll have a fast ult. Also, Pharah in general can't kill any tanks

I'm assuming the Pharah/Mercy combos you run into are just floating above a ball of chaos, because at my rank Pharah is part of squad and dive comps that have absolutely no problem taking out targets and moving tanks out of line.

It sounds to me like your problem is that your teams are focusing tanks when there's a mercy/ana right behind them.

Winston is dependant on your own supports, otherwise you will just die behind the frontline. Try to follow your other flankers. Do not go alone. You can also play him defensively, by protecting your own supports from Genjis and Tracer.
Winston without teamplay is sadly most of the time useless.

Run through the choke, keep left (most enemies seem to be on the right, shooting into the choke, and the truck will give you a little cover.) Don't go into the building, don't go up top, don't go in the little room with the medpack, just run across the point, get to the barrels in the back of the area, and use them for cover to pick off the enemies running back to you, while getting capture points off the corner of the point when possible.

The enemy team will likely be split up due to the medpack room as they chase you into the point, so you'll have a slight advantage. As long as they don't have a Torb turret covering the point or six Sym turrets slowing you down in the choke, this should work.

How has blizzard gone this long without nerfing Rein's ult?

It's basically just an improved Zarya ult at this point, except that Rein is right there to start swinging his hammer to get a free kill or two on low health or previously compromised heroes, and/or (at least) get a free kill after that with his charge. Not only that, but it hits characters that aren't even on the ground, which honestly should have been fixed a long time ago. If nothing else, that will be fixed. But there has to be people at Blizzard who are aware of how powerful Rein's ult is. It's really so powerful that it can win entire matches with much less of a requirement for assistance in order to capitalize on it.

His healing was essentially doubled, I'm expecting him to be #1 on healing most of the time now
His radius of healing and speed was cut from 30 meters to 10 meters, so he'll actually have to be near his team to do something.
His damage was doubled I think; his projectiles move a lot faster and his boop can move people vertically now.
Basically if a rein charges him, he can crouch, look up slightly and boop rein over him.

He's going to be much better for those are decent with him, but much worse for gold and below where people used him by simply existing for speed boost.

I main Mercy, about 98% of the time I have gold healing. Heal like a motherfucker with correct prioritization. staying alive even with a genji, tracer, sombra, or reaper on me.
I also do shotcalling; pointing out where enemies are flanking, pointing out a widow or pharah getting into position. Choosing and telling which of my team's dps where to go to stop their flanks, basically taking control of my team when its necessary.

I'm not the greatest coordinator of ults, however I remind our team which ults are up and promote good coordination and now its working well.

And the dps will usually sort who does what.

A good thing to practice in QP is to enable backwards wall riding, and being able to move throughout the map backwards. If you can do that, you mentally know where the map is. This helps me as Mercy because I can run away from flankers effectively and if someone starts chasing after me to save me I can instantly fly to them to safety.

If you get lucky you can climb as lucio by effectively speed boosting and having a decent Ana or Mercy. You cannot climb as lucio with Zenyatta because of the low level of healing.
You can climb like a madcunt with Ana through good use of her kit.
I, and many others, have climbed solo with Mercy. Hardest part is staying alive, second hardest is using your rezzes well.
You might get lucky as Zen, however you have to have exceptional aim, be able to shotcall your discords with decent dps.

You kill Torbjorn, his turret is still up, you kill his turret, he lays down another meaning you wasted your time. You literally have to kill both at the same time in order for it to be worthwhile

Plat is by far the worst bracket in the game. It's just too broad, the skill disparity between teams can be massive. It feels like the majority of people who can get some kills in QP are dumped there even though all they can play is a mediocre Genji/Hanzo.

Also, I've had pretty good luck when 4 people instalock and one of them picks what I usually main in comp. I explain to them I normally main x/y characters, and I'm not terribly good at much else, they usually understand and say something along the lines of

Does SR decay affect just your SR, or your MMR as well? I am at 3800ish and I don't really have the time to play for a few weeks to a month starting soon. I wouldn't mind decaying to 3000 and staying there for the season - if my next season's placements still recognized me as a mid-high Master player instead of a 3000 player, and thus placing me lower.
