After how IS mangled Lucius' inclusion in Heroes (A shitty healer rather than a Linde-esque sanic glass cannon), are there any characters you're looking forward to, but you're dreading that IS will fuck them up?

I'm expecting Elincia to get the dubious honour of being the first flying healer. She'll sport a unique weapon in the form of a Panic staff with brave properties.

The panic true damage only triggers once per combat, as per norm.

I've made an old kit once, most of them are not worth it. Though a few do have a cool novelty to them, like the Zaku Tank. The old kits were so bad quality wise.

How are so many of my characters -atk? I never really bothered to check IVs until recently and almost everybody has -atk. The Nino I'd been leveling up, my 5* Cordelia, Palla, Hana. And only one character has +atk. Is this some Kind of sick joke?

His attack and defense are pretty good but you won't be doubling with that speed. Brave axe would be good since it makes his speed issue less relevant. For his A slot the usual recommendations for boosting attack are good (fury, deathblow). I'd keep wings of mercy for teleporting shenanigans.

You need to have 15 or less units for Gaiden chapters in SD version to recruit SD-unique characters (who tend to be better than your normal units). Honestly they are skippable and not worth the effort, just use a patch to allow them access without death.

Alright /feg/, trying to decide on the best set-up for Nino. Each has its pros and cons.

Obviously Fury 3 means Pull Back stays in Nino's support slot, and DB3/SS2 get paired with one of the HP swapping skills to get into Desperation territory. Or I could swap Desperation out with something else on those builds, but I'm not sure as to what.

You need to take damage either way; one is taking more turns and using other units though.
Also everything Nino doesn't straight-out annihilate, she gets killed by or is better taken care of by other units.
The only things you'd really fear would be mages and maybe res heavy archers, but the popular archers still get killed in a good round and green mages aren't spectacularly threatening (blues just flat-out die and reds are best left to non-green units), especially since you can just bait them anyways.

Roy aside, the worst unit is Wendy. Sophia is extremely bad to start off but I suppose she eventually becomes decent, whereas even a trained Wendy is bad. The other armors are also bad, as are wolt and dorthy. The starting fighters are also quite poor.

Remember to download a save file so you cans start on hard mode, and you might want to check the requirements for the true ending because it's pretty easy to miss if you're playing ironman.
