People seriously think shadow is gonna be nerfed?

They would if they could.

The only card they can actually nerf is maybe russian lady of tempo.

They wont nerf a legendary, and the other cards are either un-nerfable (like Catacomb) or belong in other sets ( Reaper)

There is literally nothing they can do which can break the deck if they follow their own rules, and they can even stand to lose Orthus if they did nerf her.

But you have to consider that if dragon curves perfectly then they will have 10pp at turn 4, on top of having game superiority, which isn't present in the other classes with perfect curves. Not only you lose your game advantage, but play point advantage as well, therefore there is zero chance of making a comeback as opposed to other perfect curves where you don't get behind play point.

But at least they are finally clsoer to their class fantasies than ever before.

Shadow is finally about necromancy. REAL recromancies. Not just fucking + 2/2 hurr.

Skeletons, zombies, demon lords buffing the horde etc.
Dragon ramp is finally a fantasy that works in itself, and not just a crutch to try barf out as many Fortes as possible quickly to cheese decks that dont have wards.
Now they are actually about powering up and using big creatures to overwhelm anything in sheer power.

Suicide blood is the perfect example of how the vengeance mechanic was supposed to be used.

Sybel is too huge of a body for the effects it brings.
The healing happens at the end of every turn so you can't ignore it.
If it evolves, it becomes a 6/7 that's impossible to trade into.
Hard removal spells still leaves you with an empty board where dragon can freely ramp and draw more cards. Or play another Sybel.

Eacter is the same. He's way too huge of a body that summons up to 4 zombies with 4/2 rush.

Just be glad sword lacks huge body followers outside of Leonidas or a properly boosted Aurelia.

If you actually read the lore, Sukuna can only transform into human size TEMPORARILY. Her fairy form is her TRUE form.

So even if Sukuna was the thoughtless psychopath you're making her out to be, she would never crush her own Rabbit mount because:

A. She would have transformed many times before so she would know well enough to not be riding her rabbit when she transformed.

What's wrong with Dragon decks' winrate on syadoreco? "Midrange" Dragon is always the most popular variant but has negative winrate, whereas Saha Ramp and Storm Ramp have ridiculously high winrate but barely played. Is this another case of misreported data? Seems like overall class winrate is the only data that's reliable.

Except that doesn't fucking happen. Statistics suggest you never reach turn 8 and they just fucking kill you. And if they're playing midrange, they most certainly can continue to flood the board for as long as they have cards in their hand.

I'm beginning to think the only people complaining about dragon are people that played the absolutely slowest and shittiest decks without real win conditions like control sword and control blood.

And it's funny, because even without dragon those shitty control decks without hard wincons still lose to aegis, d-shift, forest anyways. Dragon is just the biggest complaint because it's popular.

Catacomb nerf is small, but hits at the same time Shadowreaper (he can't eat the extra skeleton and get out of aoe range), Orthrus (doesn't have a follower to boost) and generally the shadow generation.

Zell nerf weakens the non-storm dragon ramp. SahaRamp is nasty because they manage to shut down aggro, while still able to burst slower decks like haven and dshift. That nerf would affect probably the aegis haven and dshift matchup most. I expect dshift's winrate against normal ramp dragon to increase a lot after that.

Those nerfs might seem small, but the piercing rune nerf was also small and did influence the whole meta a lot.
