I think I know why Ike is taking so long and it's not a good one for those who are purists for voices. The current VA for Ike has only done that in his voicing career, is being Ike. He's returned for Fates but didn't return for Smash 4 oddly enough, or at least I think that his voice wasn't repurposed from the Radiant games (I don't remember him saying "I'm Ike" especially in a tone like that) and of course, Codename S.T.E.A.M. had him there too. I really hope they find a good voice actor for him if they can. I don't want someone rough and gruff though. I want a soundalike. Otherwise we'll have another Lucina problem.

SP is used for learning skills. if you want to max a unit's potential you'll need to inherit skills from other units which costs extra sp.
once you're level 40 you only get 3 sp per kill and learning anything new will take forever, whereas you would get many more SP for each level up until 40.
problem right now is that lower star units are pretty damn weak and will have trouble killing anything high level, so hardly anyone goes all the way to 40.
they're gonna release an update where lower * units get more xp from lower level enemies though.

Look at his IV levels. His max neutral HP is 45, so since he's already over that he has to be +hp. Also his max neutral speed is 22, which is 5 points higher than the number of levels he has left. Basically you just make educated guesses based on their stat totals.

The married couple epilogue blurbs in Awakening and Fates are really shit aren't they? They're just ctrl+c, ctrl+v shit, not like the paired endings in the previous games that were pretty much all unique. The endings the characters get when they don't s-rank anyone are surprisingly more interesting like Grangel's or Camilla's .
