World pvp, hm well at level 50 you're able to turn on pvp mode and attack anyone outside of town, and they can do the same to you. But the issue is karma, max is 300k and after a few kills you'll go into negative karma. During this time anyone can attack you outside of towns without losing karma, and npcs will attack you too. If you die with negative karma you lose xp, if an npc kills you then your gear could downgrade.

Now, a huge issue is the gear difference and sometimes people much stronger than you will have no issue destroying you in a hit or two. But generally, in most cases that Ive seen. People don't try to go into negative karma unless they are one of the few people that just don't give a fuck. If you plan on spending all of your time killing people you're gonna have a bad time. Your guild could declare war on theirs then you can kill them all you want. There is also node wars, which I believe is when guilds fight over a territory.

why? because they have better things to do than go wasting their karma on my low level character at some shit farming spot, and even if they do I come back 30 seconds later, and they can only kill me like 5 times before they run out of karma, and they don't want to run out of that.

Imagine it as being born in a favela, you'll be like a poor brazilian for a few months, but you can reach middle class if you are willing to learn and leave your client open. If you don't procrastinate or waste too much time with your alts, in 3 to 6 months you can be competitive, but it depends heavily on your diligence and motivation.

You can't reach the top top top tier anymore, but honestly not many people endure playing that long, a lot of veterans quit every day, you can see people who have been playing for less than 6 months with medals on their heads (that means they're the best at something in their channel). People destroy their gear A LOT, we're talking months of farming gambled in less than 10 minutes and most people lose when they do that, people reroll to the new fotm all the time as well, losing the progress from their mains.

It's usually the same people who reached say lvl 60+ on a ranger/sorc the same people that got to 60+ on a wiz, or right now sitting on a 59+ Dark knight, because it's those people that know how the game works and love to grind and dont' spend all day complaining about the 1%, they become the 1% even if they have to reroll and throw half their progress away. You don't need that though, honestly talk like being a siege guild hero is the only thing that matters, but that part of the game is stupid, and laggy and unbalanced as fuck. The only thing that matters is that you keep progressing little by little, collect all your free shit, and spend money wisely and survive without killing yourself cuz progression gets tedious

The game is VERY korean. Basically, you aren't going to be worth shit until you've been grinding and praying to RNG gods for at least 3 or so months.

Even then, you'll just be mediocre. If I had to start totally fresh, I'd honestly drop the game. There are mmos that are as good as BDO, that aren't going to require you to get a lobotomy so you can grind for 3 months straight.

Dungeons and raids force you to dungeon and raid, since there's no better content to do, and it's always time gated, so you're always stuck in progress, and there's no way around it. At least bdo let's you choose to rng enchant, or save tons of money and stalk the market. I just wish there was more gear variety, right now you can only juggle accessories and your offhand, and even those are very biased towards max ap, but I'll take that over fucking tiers from dungeons and raids and stupid daily token quests.

Sorc, Ranger, or DK for a post-awakening mob grind class? I want something quick that doesnt swap super often between weapons, but if it does it has animation cancels or something that makes it easier. Not a big fan of the wiz/witch classes, might be persuaded to try a warrior though but it seems slower than i'd like to play.

All 3 of those will do what you want.
Ranger keeps using their bow then switches to their awakening here and there. Sorc switches between the two and overall looks pretty fun. If you do it wrong and just spin 2 win itll be boring so ive heard. Dk becomes more of a caster with glitterbombs and fireworks with lots of fancy dashing. You can't go wrong with either.

Anyone here play Musa above 58/200AP and enjoy it? It looks pretty boring with just using the same 2 combos to spin until everything dies. Leveling one up currently and wondering if it gets any better or if I should look for something else with a similar speed but more rewarding gameplay.

The person in question might be exasperating the issue a bit, but generally characters are considered an extension of yourself in most cases so I can see why they might take offense.

I tend to be the same way because I create my characters and play them in the likeness of myself and while it might disturb me a bit to be featured in suggestive images or with people I might find distasteful I don't think it's that much of a big deal.

It's actually a bit ironic that to make it remotely natural looking, you have to use mods.
