HS is easy to pick up, but you'll have to grind for cards a really long time. However, if you keep it casual, it can be fun. I play it about 20 minutes a day, to do the daily quest(s) and save the gold for the next big expansion.

HotS is more of a mixed bag. Personally I don't like it that much, but again, if you casually just grind gold, it can be fun, sometimes.
