They're doing Balance Patches as the replacements for Mid-Month T2 updates. 3.0 probably won't bring many, if any, balance changes (they might spruce up the GotG characters a bit, but chances are, that'll just get relegated to new unis that fix their problems that way). If they blew their load on the balance changes in the patches themselves then they wouldn't have anything to occupy the mid-patches.

On the plus side, this means that we can probably expect ~3 characters to get buffed every month, which is nice.

You should use the 'quick match' feature always
Pick a character and you get matched up with 2 randoms and fight a boss similar to VS
At the end there's a ranking depending on how much DPS you did
Your DPS rank will then determine how much of the rewards bar fills up, when it hits 100% you can claim rewards... rewards claim costs clear tickets. You can fill the rewards bar to 100% and claim rewards up to 5 times each day. More reward slots open up depending on your VIP level.
VIP1 will open up the 2nd slot which is guaranteed to drop gold which is the major reason people play co-op.

For a character to be eligible in co-op they must be minimum 4* level 40. The more 4/0/40 characters you have, the higher the rewards will be.

What the fuck did they expect to happen? They weren't going to ban the "new" native T2s because they'd want to incentivize people to get them. Meaning the old memes would get banned while the new memes would reign supreme. Dormmamu will get banned once the next native T2 comes out, meaning we're going to be in a place where the whales who can quickly get the newest native T2s will have free reign while everyone else has an uphill battle.

People thought that banning Hulkbuster/Silk/Loki would fix T/L. Well guess what, then we got Thanos and the BO. Then people though banning Thanos and the BO would fix T/L, then we got Sharon Rogers. Then Strange, then Odin, now Dormammu, etc. There will always be a hot new meme at the top of T/L so getting rid of the CURRENT meta doesn't mean anything because they'll just get replaced.

Yeah, it's great. I wasn't sold on the whole banned/recommended list, but once they banned Sharon, it became wonderful. Seeing all the shitters just straight up give up on T/L this week is an added bonus. Being able to lose fights and still get 220 crystals at the end of the week is nice.

BW doesn't need removed. The game mode itself is actually fun. The problem is that they nerfed rewards to the point that its practically useless.

They stopped giving away ISOs, leaving only bios at a time when getting bios has never been easier, AND they made it so almost every BW is for farmable characters. You can get more bios (unfarmable ones at that) from one round of WBI than 2-3 days of BW. And since they lowered the number of entries for BW while keeping the participation rewards the same, it's no longer a good gold source since, again, you can get more gold from one round of WBI than 2-3 days of BW.

All they need to do to "fix" BW is:
>replace the bios with a selector so people can pick what to use them on (that can be used on A-Force to keep them "BW exclusive")
>bring back ISO/Card/Gear BWs

Data-mining showed that the "event characters" thing in hero ranking is basically "we're going to periodically select certain characters and reward people based on how high that characters ranks for them."

Basically a way to get people to dump resources on characters they otherwise wouldn't. Not necessarily a bad idea, but unfortunately, the ranking system's arbitrary nature means that it prioritizes having certain stats really high more-so than building your characters right. Once people figure out what stats increase your rank the most, they'll just go all in on that rather than trying to actually make the characters good and usable.
