invading is dead in ds3. dont even try. invasions are disabled when boss is killed, people with summoned phantoms are more likely to be invaded and there is no sl limit on phantoms you can summon meaning that literally 90% of your invasions will be against 1v3 gank squads often with SL 100+ phantoms, which unless you run a 1shot cheese build you will almost never be able to kill anyone. On top of this invaders get 30% less health and half estus

I let phantoms invade me and I just run around the whole map killing them. Or I invade and kill the host and phantoms. Another bonus I do is when another red or purple is low and about to heal I pull out a dagger and interrupt the heal animation either me killing him or staggered long enough for the gank squad to kills him.

I usually get "You have such a annoying play style", "Griefer", "No honor", "cheater" and
I even got 1v1 me in the arena and see what happens.

I don't even use seed or summon, use gestures when anyone dies or send invites to groups

Faith doesn't have any good weapons in DaS1. You have the ASS which is a Drake Sword for faith build. You have the Crescent Axe which is an upgraded Drake Sword for faith builds. You have the Grant which has low damage because it's split magic/physical damage. Heals, buffs and offensive miracles are what makes faith good. STR/FTH only needs 27 STR, so you can avoid using divine weapons.

I like the Harald Knights but it's dumb that almost every time they appear you get given a drop attack opportunity. I don't really like that an enemy is *expected* to be cheesed, and encounters involving it are based on there being drop attack locations rather than the enemy actually being fightable. I mean, a Harald on its own is a perfectly fine encounter, but the five Haralds together with anti-clerics and lightning thralls hanging around are pretty much impossible unless you run past them or use the bridges. Constantly landing on a Harald, then running away from the rest and waiting until you can get the drop on them again isn't great fun.

The way I see it, the fire fades in DkS3 no matter what. Linking the fire does nothing and doesn't look the way it did in 1, instead nothing happens and you just sit down. Ending the fire does basically the same instead you intended it. Ursurption makes you eat the fire which is slightly different but the fire is fucked no matter what you do.

Just invade at SL70 +8 and below, plenty of good times and few seeds. SL35 +4 and SL50 +6 or +8 are my favorites, get the watchdog/aldrich covenants and surrounding areas. Lots of fun, if you really can't handle unseeded gank squads that's fine, just stick to the invasion covenant areas instead and wait for backup.

I didn't try to get invaded much personally, but dried fingers might help I guess. Co-op was rare but I was specifically playing with a friend so it didn't matter, and that's what I'd recommend you do if you want DS2 co-op anyways.
I found out invasions were easy to get because I was trying to invade my friend and instead got a bunch of other people on accident, with not more than a couple tries of the consumable to get the invasion.
Never tested arenas personally.

This was all about a month or two ago, but a good while after le'edit ended their event.

you mean poise? no amount of poise will avoid the combo unless you are hyperarmoring with an attack which then depends on the weapon and attack you are using.

For example, while 2 handing a glaive you require ~55 poise to hyperarmor through a greatsword 2 handed R1 while 2 handed R1ing yourself. Anything smaller requires more poise and anything larger requires less.

Generally I find it not worth investing into poise beyond 28 for most weapons as that is the breakpoint to avoid a hit on the smaller weapon R1 combos. After that the major breakpoints are 42, 50, 55, 57, and 60 for 'most' weapons
