Monks are OK in pvp, with lots of investment and inquisitor can be ok at blut world boss and that's about it.

They can perform fine in normal pve, but so can almost every other dps class. They are unwanted for endgame pve but then again every cleric that is not diev or krivis is unwanted there as well.

Just build for what you plan on doing and see if monk or whatever other class is good at it.

Agny is a Pyro necklace which gives fire spells retarded multipliers. Monk is functional but in an ET party it would be the 5th position "filler" character. We're getting info on some kind of system overhaul tomorrow, anyway you can make Monk do good damage with enough investment since it has debuff based multipliers and a 0cd spammable attack it just takes more silver than other options.

After the nerf to the mobs... yes. The mace alone (with lv 7 reds) is worth a Rod/Sword stage 3. Plus it works as a luxury five hammer for your alts.

Now if you want PVP, I strongly suggest the rod+trans or for solmiki dps, the staff+trans.

So as far as I can tell, the reason for the crashes is a fuckup IMC did like a month ago.

At like the beginning of March, they accidentally made it so Steam installs VC2015 when launching the game, because they were going to update the game to require it later.
But that version wasn't QUITE the one IMC wanted us to have.
So you had to delete every last trace of that, reboot for good measure, and install a proper version.

Bees didn't spawn that many bees in beta. When the game went into the EA, Dina Bee Farm's spawn rate was bumped up to insane amounts which is why people started farming it in the first place. They found a flaw to be fixed with GvG, and it'll be reopened after they fix it. They're rushing. (Mango previously said it's expected during April)

The GMs were wetting their panties over the big announcement they'll be making soon regarding balance, stats, transcendence, pvp, and more. They'll continue making balance changes to classes after the big news, too. They said

They are considering an open pvp map. It will "take a time" since they'll work on it after the things in the upcoming announcement.

Yuri is investigating the bug with Selphie in the missing herbalist quest.

They're looking into desync and VGA errors, including parties not being able to join the same session and parties breaking.

They recently added some new censored words, such as hun. The GMs got censored and they're going to update the censor list again to fix that.

Fixing mouse mode is one of their priorities since it's a basic control issue and it has been a problem for quite a long time. Mouse mode will be improved, but it looks like fixing it will be a bit complicated.

They're thinking about some suggestions about sapper skills, such as aggroing monsters or hiding properly.

Tokens only cost $10.

A lvl 290 character can run a Rush Dungeon earning about 400,000 silver in 3 runs within 20 minutes.

If you run it in three characters OR 3 days.
That's 60 minutes of play time earning you 400kx3 = 1.2 million silver/hr

To earn about 3 million silver you need to do the dungeon runs for 3 hours total
1.2 mil/hr x 3 hrs = 3.6 million

Now imagine this is a job.
You basically earn $10/3hrs = $3.3/hr

Seems fair for a game right?
And that's ignoring that you need to level the character to lvl 290 first.

I quit ToS because on top of all the other problems the daily grind just made the game feel like a fucking night job instead of something to play to unwind. I drop by every now and again to see if anything's been fixed but I don't think it will ever happen.

Good reason to quit. The daily grind is still there. ET is only for Pyro's and PD2's. The game is dead too so unless you can find a clique, you're not going anywhere in the game. Most like servers are going to be shut down withing 6 months or merged.

Wugushi skills are still strong enough to use even with Musket C2, and Musket CDs are pretty short.

Some rank 8 reach a point where they can choose to specialize on a few skills they ahve for ease or stack and pick all the available skills.

An even bigger retard. Feint+Barrage (A rank 2 and rank 5 skill) beats many of the skills from mergen a (Rank 8) except for arrow rain for a specific scenario where there are tons of mobs.
Backstab (rank 6) beats cannon blast(rank 7) for single target damage on a single foe.
Flare shot (rank 4) beats all the others for damage for bosses that stay stationary since it ticks for 30 times at lvl 5 flare shot. (Yes it even beats any thing the other higher ranked skills can throw)
