Why do people find Midir hard? He got me a bit at first but I've done 3 runs now and haven't died to him since the first. Complaints about him being boring or overly long are definitely within reason though, but I've developed a pretty safe method of killing him.

So, because the Sanctuary Guardian's soul claims it resembles a demon more than anything, there's a running theory that many Chaos Demons are chimeras, beings who were fused together with other creatures. This is backed up by Quelaag and her sister being self evidently creatures who were not born from chaos but became chimeras because of it.

Indisputed Sorceror build is a Level 53 Sorceror with LMAO9VIG and 60 Int. You get Obscuring Ring, Binoculars and Soul Stream and obliterate your targets from halfway across the map.

More of a gimmicky twink build and probably worked way better when the game was more active (i.e. more people at lower levels doing normal runs). Even so, Ion Cannon build never got old, getting Double/Triple Kills in the Catacombs without even being near the host or his phantoms.

Otherwise, your standard is SL 120, 60 Int, Dragoncrest Rings, Sage Ring, then a fourth ring of your choosing. You can put a Scholar's Candlestick in your offhand for extra spell damage, and Dusk Crown will also increase magic damage output.

Court Sorcerer Staff post 40 Int
Heysel's Pick and Immolation Tinder also situationally used on some builds who want to use a decent weapon.
Alot of Sorceror's are changing to Preacher's Arm (from the second DLC) because of its amazing Weapon Art

For a miracle/pyro I use raw ass, anything involving dex I use sharp sellsword twinblades, strength I use broadsword. I use whatever starting class is stat efficient (usually warrior for melee, the appropriate class for cleric/pyro). I do deacons before farron because then you can go straight through irithyll after skeleton man. Usually do oceiros and champion after dancer. I do dlc after Soul of Cinder but I clean up base game bosses before soul of cinder and make sure to give the transposing kiln to ludleth.

I only care for DLC2 of DaS3, just like I only cared for TOH when I played BB. I probably wouldn't even be playing Souls 3 if not for Midir to be truthfully honest.

At this point you have all the materials for a +10 Normal weapon, a +5 Twinkling weapon, and a +5 Titanite Scale weapon, pick whatever suits your fancy. I usually just use Raw Ass+ 10 and bloat my health/stamina. Summon Gael and kill her and then enjoy TRC, the only decent content this game has If I want to try a specific weapon, I'll go back to the main game at this point and get it, but only after I get Ring of Favor+3 and Silver Covetous +3

When you twohand your strength is multiplied by 1.5 and rounded down. 27 gets you 40.5, which rounds down to 40, the first softcap. If you want to be more efficient you can go for 26 str since it's an even number and won't get rounded down, it's better to stop here than at 27 if you're making a katana build or something where you've got more dex scaling but not enough to justify 60 dex over 26/40.

No he isn't, because it's almost always worth having an attunement slot since replenishment is stupid good on any build and can be cast with 10 faith if you ringswap. You're basically trading luck for vitality by picking knight, the only serious downside is the fact that he has 1 more int, but you need 9 if you want to use gargoyle flame spear anyway.

if you've already been through the game half a dozen times, especially a game as railroaded as ds3, and you just want the build for pvp, it becomes a bit of a tedium to run through the game for the umpteenth time. From should have allowed more respecs, as well as gender swaps, class repicks and name changes. If there's problem with having to explain why you're not turning into a grub, just make up some bullshit excuse like with great effort (ie bring more tongues) you can avoid it. Of course, that would hurt low level pvp a bit, but there are perfectly good solutions for that too

Use your attunement slot or switch your class to warrior. It can very easily be capitalized on by just equipping replenishment, going to 10 faith, throwing on the priestess ring, casting replenishment, then switching the priestess ring back to whatever you originally wanted in your ring slot, (for example, sun princess ring, which has the same weight and gives you more regen). Even if you just go to 15 faith and don't swap it's worth it, especially in unembered duels where 300 HP feels larger when compared to everyone's shrunken healthbars.

use http://unkindler.github.io/caps/ but don't trust it or mugenmonkey for endurance levels, they display them all wrong

with favor +3 the 25th endurance point gives 4 points of stam instead of 2, so at least go for that. Most people have their endurance at 30 or more.

use favor and havel's +3 rings, you can get them in NG in the DLC. And if you're using twin princes you're already going to be going to NG+ anyway. Chain starts to lose value the higher you can get your vigor without it, the life ring soon starts to become the better option.

Also, the gargoyle flame spear has the same weight as twin princes GS and similar scaling, it's a nice backup to have. I'd also add that a 26/40 TPGS with 25 faith has about the same damage as a 40/40 one while giving you access to good healing miracles.

What I meant by Black Knight is back when we did Black Knight invasions as a community thing, it was a simple build. There wasn't a ton of min maxing involved, you had to stay to the proper roll, etc.

So fatroll is expected, and the crown is part of the set for lothric. I typically don't fashion so if you have advice, I definitely want it.
