I read everywhere how you can earn money with professions, but truth is, if you are not part of a HC raiding gear to get all the best recipes, your profession is almost worthless at max level (except when you can get some really rare recipes like Truefaith Vestments, which serves you well trough the first raid tier), and you've missed the gear you could have while leveling.

Casual play in WoW is getting your t0.5, doing some pvp, wpvp, farming some gold, buying epics.

All this is only fun until everyone is t2.5 and one-shots you in pvp/wpvp and all buyable gear is shit compared to everyone else.

Now, elysium is still fun because nobody is awfully geared so your shit gear is good. But you don't have time to dedicate to it. So that means you'll level over the course of a year or so. By which time naxx will be released and since vanilla has been cleared a billion times, it will take guilds not that much time to get full t2.5s and shit.

Save yourself the trouble OR go to a funserver, like retrowow. Although its the most cancerous hole in the world, it takes two 1 hour raids to get geared and there's buyable gear. So you can get the nostalgia out of your system pretty fast and with different classes to boot.

If I get one shotted because a warlock managed to get a lucky crit on a 4 second cast with a 1 min cooldown, I don't mind.

I mind when a regular shadowbolt will one shot you with a 25% crit chance. Pvp becomes really pointless at that point.

Honestly, it's worse with mages. Because when mages get t3, they need zero skill and timing. They can outdamage a healer without needing to CS him, they can kill you with easy scorches and if you manage to make it so a mage can't cast - big deal, he'll probably still drop you with fire blast before you can.

25% crit chance is t3, and actually i doubt t3 will give you that. Right now i have 125 spell power/11% crit. I'm destro so I lack 10% shadow damage from shadow mastery. My shadowbolts crit for 1200 something, and 1400 with debuff. If you can get 1shotted by that you should really think of getting some stamina.

Not sure if I'm able to get Verigan's fist until later levels due to no one running shadowfang keep. At what point can i solo the instance at least up to the stables where i need the item?

Largely it comes from poor information. Druids have special niche fights where they should be tanking. The thing is that to be a good druid tank/dps, more farming was required than a good majority of other classes. Further, a good druid won't be playing as a "pure". Our druids were always ready to swap roles if we needed, and they did an amazing job tanking/healing or even dpsing. Only the uninformed will parrot this crap because they are too young to have played at the time or never made it to the endgame content of those days.

An armor capped bear tank that knows what they are doing is a fucking dream to heal, but on certain fights. Everybody has a place, it is just that most people were bad or just repeat what they hear. Our sister guild on alliance side during retail even had 2 pally off tanks that were very well built, and outright disgusting in pvp.

This is true, a feral druid has a place but he needs to do it properly. What many people forget is that HotW gives you 20% intellect, so healing isn't really as shit as, say, ret pally heals (who suffer a lot from no crit mana return).

I've played a feral druid a lot and I have to say when you weigh the pros and cons compared to a warr, it's really not one-sided at all. For example, as a bear, you're many times better for tanking 5 mans. If your healer is good, you can innervate him every 5 mins to skip mana breaks. You do a LOT more damage than a prot warrior, contributing to a quick run. And usually, considering warrs who run 5 mans aren't def capped, you'll be more resilient than a warr. In 20 mans you're again about equal, even possibly better at some points. You only start dropping off mid-bwl, where you're still good for off-tanking stuff. On the other hand, you can easily switch roles in the middle of a raid and finding 5/10/20 man groups is piss easy - you can dps, heal AND tank there with the same specc, fully and without impeding the group.

All this, on top of the fact you are a dream for every WSG group and can pvp in the same specc you raid, as well as farm better than any other class in the game that doesn't do aoe.

Yes, you'll never get to tank naxx or even maybe aq40, but you'll still do everything else in the game and be versatile as shit.

The 4.00 axe sounds ridiculously op with windfury, but the RNG aspect of enhancement doesn't really appeal to me, elemental/resto 31/0/20 or whatever for nature's swiftness was what I was going for
