Ok, so I want to clarify some stuff regarding lag compensation, netcode/hitreg & ping.

If you are playing vs a team with ONE player who has somewhat high ping (150+), does his whole team benefit from lag copensation? does it affect others or just him?

Having high ping does benefit the player who has it? does it give him a constant advantage or is just something that can happen randomly?

I'm asking because I do notice some weird shit when people have high pings, while on the other hand, when everyone on the game is below ~100, things seem more normal.

alright, i suppose we were going to have this conversation at some point in the future.

yes there are some pieces of art in the drawfriend that many would consider bad/crappy that i included. i did this for a number of different reasons. firstly i want the booru to be an open place for all of our drawfriends irregardless of their skill or how long they've been drawing. whether they're old or new they will still be included. secondly, i don't want to exclude good ideas that have been poorly executed. they still have some merit to them, and hopefully a more talented drawfriend could see them and perhaps do a version that's better than the original. thirdly, even something done terribly or poorly executed can still be funny/good in its own way. i have kept this inclusiveness rule fairly consistent throughout my time managing the booru and have included quite a few posts that many might consider awful/shit/bad because of them. however for the most part posts like that are in the minority.

that being said, there's a difference in something being poorly done due to lack of talent/skill and something being poorly done due to a lack of effort. obviously i'm not going to include every low-effort MS paint drawing that took 2 minutes.

whoever made the number 6 counter was clearly made with a lack of effort. i even asked if it should stay and was told by many people that it shouldn't. not only that, but when the autist(s) also did a vote of their own (i guess to prove how theirs was worthy) it got BTFO (http://www.strawpoll.me/12658065/r). i also stated outright

I made a little edit a long while back and posted it on the general for the fun of it. You added it to the booru regardless because it was apparently funny enough for a spot.

I always felt like shit oc has a place on the Booru, it encourages people to make and create whatever pops to mind.
I don't think they should be inbetween artworks on the frontpage between artists who actually tried creating something of aesthetic quality.
