Forget Ivy Spellbomb. Entangling Vines is the better card for tempo. I have been having trouble dealing with evolved rehab and miko on turn 5 which has retarded 7 defence. Ivy Spellbomb 3 dmg is insufficient most of the time. Entangling Vines costs 1pp so it can be used as combo card for beetle warrior and set up free trade for soccer mom. If you dont want to combo you can use it as poor man dod for 5pp. Really underrated versatile card for tempo forest.

Dragon and shadow taking the lead with haven and sword trailing way behind. Blood was very popular the first day but its popularity seems to die down a bit. Rune was popular too but seems to have identity crisis as its usage has declined sharply. I havent met a strong rune deck yet besides golem. Forest is still doing their old tricks. It is the least used class but surprisedly resilient. It could because their decks havent changed much from the battle proven DE and ROB formula while everyone else is testing meme decks.

No, and I say this as a Hagshitter, the deck has issues that keeps it from being the top of the pile. Any deck that is able to kill Eris before Turn 9 (D-Shift being the prime example) will be able to deal with it handily.

My prediction is that after the shock of an invincible Turn 9 Do Nothing, people are going to realize that Haven is still Haven and deal with it accordingly, meaning Pure Aegis or its variants are probably going to be Tier 2 after everything has been (mostly) explored for this meta.

I didn't say it's a flawless card that you can play whenever you want. I said there's zero punishment, as in the opponent can't do anything to discourage it. The only cards that could do this are lurching, khawy, and tribunal, but now dragon has lightning blast.

Speaking as the person who plays the counters to Shadow (Haven and Dirt), it's a lot different.
Getting hit by Odin sucks, but Odin is 1 late-game card, and only madmen ran 3x because of that fact. If you run 3 seraphs, you can beat Odin. Even running 2 is often enough unless your opponent gets lucky, since you can tutor for countdown amulets but you can't tutor for Odin.
Meanwhile, Haven and Dirt Rune have far more than 2 banish effects, and Dirt Rune in particular has a really good board-wide banish that comes out early enough. If you've never tried a Dirt Rune variant against a shadow player, I highly recommend it. It feels like cheating. Classes that have many banish effects is a completely different game than a single hate card.

More officers, i was having the problem of too many commanders being drawn and needing to be summoned that dont have synergys with other commanders, so i slightly reduced the number and added the vanguards because storm is always good, it worked a treat.

Well makes an already stronk deck work even better which is great when i draw it, but drawing more than 1 of them can brick you early on, you need officers and commanders in your hand, its ideal to play everything on curve and hit face along the way buffing your cards till you get frog out at which point you start buffing him and protecting him with lecias while taking care of obvious threats, its an aggro deck and RTW decks best matchups are unrefined decks.

Jesus fucking christ Daria with Mammoth, Chimera and Mutagenic Bolt is absolutely disgusting. Dropping Mammoth before playing Daria guarantees a fat board even if you don't pull any Oglers. Chimera helps you clear wards and Mutagenic Bolt helps you finishing off the enemy because you already burned the enemy with multiple spells and unga'd them with quickmage.

unless an aggro deck becomes fast enough to win a game in four turns on average aggro will never be cancer

the only reason why shadow is considered cancer is because it's literally the only aggro deck that can reliably last against dragon and haven, with shit like themis, breath of the salamander, and ancient lion spirit.

Aegis is NOT good. It's like a Seraph that lands on turn 9 instead of 8, and at earliest, kills on turn 11 assuming there's no wards and your opponent doesn't have you in lethal range. You play Aegis the same way you play Seraph or Sun Satan, just with Aegis instead of Satan/Seraph. You can throw in ToS if you feel like it, but it'll likely clog your hand instead of being useful, and dragon has no problem removing it anyway. If you want to have a chance with Haven, play Storm Haven. Even that is mediocre though.

The big thing with aegis is it doesn't require nearly as much fodder to make it work as Seraph does and once it goes off nothing can get rid of it.

It also chains really well with Baha and themis to get rid of any wards.

I know there were a couple people here working on a Tempo/Face Dirtrune deck. Any decklists come out of that yet?

Just go on game-ai and gamewith, check the decks there and see which ones are cheapest to make.
Even if a deck is T2/T3, it doesn't take much for them to win on unraked, so it really doesn't matter what you build as long as it's cheap.

That is the best part about Aegis; however, before Lightning Blast, Seraph could at least win on turn 9. You have to survive AT BEST to turn 11 with Aegis. that's assuming you have an evolve left on turn 9 as well and the luxury of attacking face twice in a row.

The advantage of Satan over Aegis is that he gains ward from Sunlight, as do all of the followers in the Apocalypse deck. Though that also doesn't matter as much with Lightning Blast and Bahamut now. I think Sun Aegis is Haven's best win condition for now since it helps block early aggro, and it doesn't matter if Sun eventually gets destroyed by Baha or whatever since Aegis can't even use it.
