If Alexiel becomes common enough, people will not want to run race teams that match it so it wont be popular at all, people will rather take medusa if there's no Alexiel.

It also lets a single baha weapon fit into their grids without issue again as well if they so wish which helps titan grids with baal guns.

Tezcat isn't even that huge of an improvement over Medusa anyway unless you are legit mvp racing what little there is to mvp race anymore.

Sturm does a bit more from what it looks like, but she's nowhere near Lucio. She has no downside like Metera, but doesn't provide OD utility like Rackam. Also she seems a bit weaker here because it's only a few turns and those turns have high TA value. But because Agnis has trium and Xeno axe it's impossible not to have high TA values. I think her kit doesn't mesh well with high end fire.

Catherine is a charm bot. She's good as support for raids if you completely abandon any notions of dealing damage, because she has two skills that charm on 3 turn cool downs, charm on ougi, and a skill that changes charm to entice (that stacks with charm). You honestly never use her ODA/BA because it gets rid of enticed, unless they're literally about to run out.

She's alright for some solo content I guess, but normally you'd want characters that can actually do damage.

I've never considered tezcat to be terrible, but people should always consider what they have to give up to effectively run tezcat and if that works out for them or not.

For MOST players, running tezcat is incredibly limiting their options and forcing them to run characters they don't want to in the first place and the gain over a MLB Medusa is not as great as many people constantly make out to be.

People seem to legit think that an 80% elemental summon vs. an elemental 120% summon is an outright 40% damage increase when it's actually a fair bit less than that, ESPECIALLY so when you are on element and have a native 50% elemental mod as is already, which is a key point cygames is pushing for now.

Amusingly enough the on-element meta has made Bonito less terrible because it makes Ca Ong more useful and thus gives water better options for summons without losing Bonito effect. Which is funny because people have been shitting on Bonito while praising Tezcat far more than the other way around. But Macula vs. Bonito is the same thing in terms of efficiency anyway where the gain is not as large as people think, especially on element but at least Bonito doesn't enforce racial character lineups.
