Most weapons have at least decent styles.

Brave made SA fun again.
Brave SnS gets crazy evasion and mobility.
Brave DB never runs out of sharpness.
IG is pretty much a straight sidegrade from guild with better evades and a kinsect that actually does something.
Bow gets free Focus, doesn't lose a whole lot over guild, gains a few toys.
Hammer with Impact Pulse is practically an entirely different weapon.

I meant for high rank. I was comparing Amatsu set with AuL, crit eye+2, WE, bludgeoner, artillery novice and Akantor's Sharpness+1, Bludgeoner, AuS, A.Novice and razor sharp. In Gen, Amatsu and Akantor are tied in terms of damage. Amatsu set excels in solo hunt because it crits depends on weakpoints because of WE, while Akantor is better to use in multi because of its native affinity. But now Amatsu has the edges over Akantor because the set has AuL.

Brave gets the advantage that their mid-combo evade has around Evasion+1 levels of I-frames but Guild has potential of using Affinity Oils better because they can stack on Round Force+Chaos Oils but sacrifice the stronger evade hop. SnS gets pretty good natural sharp weapons so retal evade isn't mandatory on them
