>>171976407
I shelved my TFC livestream because I had a pretty annoying bug that I couldn't solve.Nothing of value was lost.
>>171976309
Why did you not do this earlier you bastard now it will take a while to get posters back.
>>171977665
why didnt you make it urself
>>171977665
Those of us that matter are still here.
>>171977665
im here now
what are you gonna do
>>171977817
Meidos are cunts and forcing me to mobilepost like a faggot because they think I'm using a vpn.
Making threads on mobile while trying to hide the fact that you're mobileposting is heel.
How do I build this in MC
>>171978079
chisels & bits
curved enough if you make it big enough
I've crafted the top part of Altar of Cha'garoth, now we just have to go to the Dreadland Mountain biome.
>>171978079
architecturecraft
>>171978539
okay but when do you fucking fight cthulhu
>>171978539
After finding one, then you go down to Y: 40 and place down the altar.
>>171979119
Then you right click it...
>>171979272
Basically you have to fight through these mobs to get to the boss, which if you have the Dreaded Samurai set, they are pathetic at this point.
>>171979567
Free Anvil, Crafting Table, Furnace, and Crystalizer to take.
>>171979821
And here's Cha'garoth.
>>171980036
And it just whupped my ass. This boss keeps spawning these little shits, preventing you from doing anything w/o taking damage.
>>171979027
>fight
>cthulhu
>>171980581
It's not Cthulhu, it Cha'garoth, the dreadbeast.
>mezz is literally the public face of forge because cpw is too autism and lex is too uncontrolled rage
It was honestly better under the spastic arguing of FlowerChild and Eloram.
>>171980402
Anyway if you bring enough potions, I suppose this fight is possible.
>>171981648
Anyway he drops a bunch of experience, the key to the next dimension (after we transmute it), and a bunch of other shit.
>>171981816
BEHOLD THE LEGENDARY TREASURE OF THE DREADLANDS!
>>171981985
I guess we shouldn't be surprised it is a cube, like everything else.
>>171981985
>>171981985
>>171982169
shove up ass
>>171982169
Oh well, let's transmute this key.
>>171982435
Are there any spigot servers that are not terrible through having microtransactions or shit infinite item shops?
Remember playing on a fun place back in beta that used webauction plugin and had neat features like renting/selling hotel rooms or land to other players.
>>171982602
Alright, let's see what awaits for us in Omothol...
>>171982913
A near drop into the void for one.
>>171982824
Plugins are still vanilla, and no one here cares about vanilla.
Get autism and mods.
>>171983050
there's villages there? what kind of fucked up shit lives in a cosmic horror dimension?
>>171983050
Also this stone has a mining level of 6, so it'll require the Dreadium pick.
>>171983254
We'll soon find out.
>>171983202
What's a good modpack without a technology focus. I played the tekkit packs a long time ago and they felt samey with the solar panel grind.
Any focused on automation through NPC management or exploration I think would be fun. Or just a general point in the right direction for someone wanting to get autism going again.
>>171983635
>Npc management
Doglamoo cities, Millenaire, Minecolonies or even Custom NPCs if you are autistic enough to set it up.
>exploration
Apart from doom or rogue dungeons which only add structures theres techguns for enhanced exploration and combat.
>>171983320
After making some bridges, we finally get to meet the inhabitants of this village.
>>171983993
And yes, you can trade with them too.
>>171983635
>solar panel grind
Aside from being years ago, that's the shitteriest way of powering stuff.
Best modpack is the one you make yourself, look into thaumcraft and it's addons, 1.7.10 obviously.
Ancient warfare allows you to do npc related stuff and things, it's a medieval tech tier tech mod.
Recurrent complex is a custom worldgen mod, you'll have to deck it out with worldgen you've downloaded/made yourself.
There's also rougelike dungeons and a few other mods.
If you're on singleplayer, twilight forest is pretty good, doesn't work on serbs due to killing TPS.
>>171984165
It's got wiggly tentacles for hands.
>>171984350
What am I looking at here? Also they make some sort of eldritch gibberish sounds.
>>171977880
Yup.
>>171984548
Hmm, something tells me I should avoid this structure til later, not that I can mine in it, because all of this stone requires a better pick. For now, I gotta upgrade the Necronomicon.
>>171984743
They also have a blacksmith structure here, but they don't have a chest in them.
>>171983961
>>171984220
Thanks friends. Reading on the wiki about some stuff. Is the FTB vanilla+ really a good base to get mods started. Are there any general "get this mod" mods not listed there?
>>171984987
What's this Lovecraft mod fella you keep posting? I want to add it to autism adventure pack as it looks fun.
>>171984350
innsmouth/10
>>171984987
The first goal in this dimension is still the same, use the staff of rending to gather energy to upgrade your Necronomicon and staff of rending again. Also killing the enemies in the process to get their materials.
>>171985157
I tried to start with Vanilla+ as well but it doesnt introduce you to newer tech or magic mods, its just vanilla plus some decoration or utility mods.
>>171985157
FtB is pretty garbage tier due to configs, mod choice, and bloat, but can be a good place to start.
Launcher wise, you should be using multimc, it can handle ftb instances if you're actually using their shit packs.
Most mods are found on curseforge.
Jap mods and immibus's dimensional anchors (the best chunkloader mod) are the only ones I can think of mentioning.
>>171985338
Also this is what the Dimension looks like w/o Night Vision.
>>171985720
Looks better.
>>171987129
Unfortunately every helmet that AbyssalCraft adds, has night vision on them for whatever reason, and you have to wear the helmet or these mobs will annihilate you. I wish they kept it so that the night vision only works in the Overworld.
>>171987793
The mob you're gonna be needing to fight alot of currently, are these Omothol ghouls, since you need their flesh to craft the Omothol skins for the Necronomicon upgrade. They inflict like a very quick blindness and slow you down a bit. They also have alot of health.
>>171988118
And like zombies, they have a extremely high sight range and will path their way towards you.
You can also find these remnants, wondering around random places. You can still trade with them and aren't hostile until you attack them.
How to nerf TiCon?
>>171988715
Config
I think I fixed the orange brick structure I did originally by building something decent in its place.
>>171988605
One of those Minions of the Gatekeeper dropped an ingot.
>>171988905
>>171989237
Hmm, looks like we can't simply craft the pickaxe using sticks, there's more to this...
>>171989954
Oh...
>>171990210
In order to get the ethaxium bricks needed for the pick, we have to go to The End, and I haven't done so yet.
>>171990723
And end stone can't be crafted by any means in this pack other than be transmutated from Ethaxium, which can't be mined until I get that pick.
>>171990984
I feel you on how much of a pain is to get those pearls, fuck endermen
>>171980981
Anyone associated with the complete trifecta (Curse, FTB, Forge) are part of the cancer.
Interesting weather
>>171993472
As our seasonal clock says, it's late fall/early winter.
>>171993761
Of course the Stronghold has to be in the fucking ocean. Diffidently not a good season for this shit.
>>171994205
Reason being is that during the cold seasons, you will catch hypothermia if you are in the water for not even too long.
The Industrial District is taking shape.
The Sawmill is finished, joining the Iron Factory, the Train Station and the Railyard. Other structures to add are a Telegraph station near the train station, and a gallows near the town hall.
Laying out the Railyard is a bitch.
>>171994691
And the only way you can really combat the cold is with cold resistance potions, but good luck trying to find an icy biome.
I call this one the "I totally didnt copy the design from Noodlor"
>>171994994
That and perhaps this shitty wool armor.
>>171995163
>>171995486
Looks like this wool suit really does help out.
>>171996209
>>171995486
I didn't realize these were the same person.
>>171996209
>>171996718
Found the End Portal, now I just need some more eyes of ender.
>>171994894
Sheeit. I haven't realized that I have been playing this save and this modpack since November 2015.
How about you guys? How long has been your longest play on a single modded world?
What was that old thaumcraft talisman thing that revived you once in hardcore mode if you had it in your hotbar?
Well, that didn't come out like I wanted.
Seeing that getting enderman to spawn is a pain, maybe if I use this bead...
>>171999003
There we go.
>>171999196
Only downside is that I have to wait til the curse wears off before I can return home.
any mods that let you summon storms?
I set up in a snow biome but ever since I got here it hasn't snowed once. I'd actually prefer if it constantly snowed
3/18, double bonus points!
Wastes a bit of mana, but that's fine because it stops itself when there's enough livingwood and livingstone in storage.
Thinking of buying a new laptop. I'm looking at getting something beefy enough to compile large-scale .NET projects so I can replace my work laptop, but also something that would be able to play a large FTB pack without any major hiccups.
Any suggestions on a good product? Not really interested in a GAYMIN laptop
>>172000134
BEEEES produce some stuff that you can feed into a rainmaker, I can't remember if Forestry itself has some sort of rain detector to let you constantly turn it on though.
EnderIO and Draconic Dildolotion also have weather manipulators as far as I remember.
Well I managed to survive the curse, and got more than enough eyes of ender to go to The End.
>>172000134
Just do /weather rain
>>172000838
>>172000476
>able to play ftb without hiccups
you might be better off asking the nsa what they use
>>172000795
>>172000958
>tfw found out I'm not in a snow biome even though there was snow on the ground
epic, is there any way to force it to snow?
>>172000356
There, somewhat better.
>>172001850
>snow on ground but not snow biome
desu this was the wierdest and worst change they did, i dont understand it at all
i hate how arrows use flint I never come across it
>quark makes guardians spawn in open ocean by default
what the fuck was vazkii thinking
>>172003153
It also has an anal bead you can break that can cause random mobs to spawn around you regardless of light level for 20 minutes, and are fire resistant.
>>172003153
>what the fuck was vazkii thinking
facebook memes, bad design, and trash anime, the fuck do you think vazkii was thinking
>>172003445
What option disables that?
>>172003498
Just disable wraith spawn. Since they're the only mob that drops it.
Looks like some lebbet fed the jews.
http://imgur.com/a/x1kUH
>>172002878
Shovel Gravel over and over for Flint.
They're a chance to get one each time you dig gravel.
>>172004001
That's a whole lot of fucking nothing
>>172004331
he keeps remaking the wheel for some reason. is the guy just a perfectionist or what
>>172004001
>it's still missing a lot of content
So update never. Great.
>>172004753
At this rate, it's going to come out well after people have already established themselves on 1.11 (or even 1.12), forcing people to go back to 1.10 if they want TC.
And it will be hilarious.
>>172004679
Seems like it, but I think he mostly just wants to keep player interest up
And some changes are necessitated by version changes, like wands being replaced by those sweet ass gauntlets, or the thaumometer getting that downgrade in 1.8.9
Well, let's dive right in...
>>172005260
>this shit
Yeah... I'm done with this pack after I finish Abyssalcraft.
>>172005608
Did it replace all your potion with dirty water? Oh fucking wow.
Reminds me of Betweenlands. I haven't even tried the mod but just reading the wiki was enough to put me off.
>all food and potions replaced with useless shit when you enter the dimension
>all your equipment is rendered useless against everything from that place
>>172006386
No, when I was trying to bottle the dragon's breath, it gave me dirty water.
Also this boss fight was a bigger pain in the ass than the AbyssalCraft's dragon fight, but namely because of these fucking Abyssal Zombies everywhere.
>>172006623
And no, you can't craft the dragon's breath either, and this does effect maybe a few mods.
>>172006978
Anyway, I finally got some end stone, just two pieces is all I need.
>>172007264
Then you smelt down the ethaxium blocks into bricks, then finally the pick can be made.
>>172007392
And of course, don't forget to enchant it as well.
>>172007638
The magnetic enchantment is a really good one, because whatever block you mine automatically goes into your inventory. And in a skylands dimension like this, it's very useful.
>>172007774
Uh wut
>>172008041
>>172008132
Apparently all of these mobs are effected by smite.
>>172002016
That just reminds me how much I hate Botania's hourglass.
It looks cool, and has a pretty nice timer setup. I just can't stand how there's no way to turn it off short of removing your perfectly timed sand.
>>172008650
And the Necronomicon is finally upgraded again.
>>172008670
>there's no way to turn it off short of removing your perfectly timed sand.
>>172008840
And let's not forget to make the ritual altar,
>>172009030
Anyway, the main goal of this dimension is to pretty much kill the final boss. J'zahar, Gatekeeper of the Abyss.
It ain't Cthulhu, but it's still one of The Great Old Ones.
>>172008884
Well fuck, never mind then.still, a redstone signal would be a little more convenient.
>>172010125
>still, a redstone signal would be a little more convenient.
There's always my shitty micromod fork on 1.7, which does have that
>https://github.com/KryptonCaptain/SimpleRedstone
>>172009428
Time to upgrade the staff of rending. Now it'll do two hearts of damage, and give energy at 4x the rate.
>>172010347
Well before we take the fight to J'Zahar, we're gonna try to get the armor set here, and in order to do that, we are going to need Ethaxium ingots. There are several ways we can get them. One way is to get them from a tough ass mobs known as the Minions of the Gatekeeper, another way is to craft an oblivion catalyst and surround it with four ethaxium bricks in a crafting table, or we craft a life crystal and either completely surround it in a crafting table or perform a ritual and so it only requires four ethaxium bricks.
>>172010881
And the life crystal requires us to play around with crystals some more, one of the crystals requiring lapis lazuli, which gens quite uncommonly.
Trying to compile a personal 1.7.10 version of Thaumic Tinkerer after years of not playing, how do I fix this so it can download dependencies?
>>172011315
first, have you checked your environment is setup right? ran all the standard gradle commands?
second, made any code changes to anything, or just trying to compile it?
What's annoying about this one is that thanks to Tough as Nails, you have to pick your poison when it comes to getting hydrogen, the bottled water has to be filtered then cooked in a furnace to become a regular water bottle. While the bucket gives more hydrogen, it consumes the bucket.
>>172011315
Ass magic
Hiya /mcg/. Spent the last day or so cheating on you with another game but I'll always come back to my Blocks.
Doing some more work. Making a proper entrance on this side so I can fill in the windows and stop jumping in and out of it for access.
>>172012803
The Ethaxium Helmet appears to be the ONLY Abyssalcraft helmet that doesn't give nightvision.
>>172013773
>>172013090
I'm liking the style, anon.
>>172013862
Well here's the Ethaxium set, this armor is kinda eeh. It has the least amount of constant effects for AbysalCraft armor, but randomly you get a short bit of regen and/or strength.
>>172014658
It looks like a walking quartz pillar.
>>172000356
4/18
This was too easy, even without using locked drawers. I should add a thing to limit production.
>>172011315
>status code 500
Forge's Maven is having issues, you'll have to wait.
>>172014658
The random regen effect does increase your survivability significantly against lesser mobs.
>>172015331
Well here's what is inside the giant structure, already had to kill a few Minions of the Gatekeeper.
>>172015750
Pretty huge library, with these stones in a particular shape.
>>172015826
Oh hey, it's J'Zahar.
>>172015973
Time for an epic battle...
>>172016139
...haha nope, his slow moving ass was no match for my crossbow.

>>172016412
The Abyssalnomicon.

>>172016474
And we can upgrade the Staff of Rending once more...
>>172016628
Into the Staff of J'Zahar.
>>172016585
make it a lobby
>>172016706
Well now there's not really much to do now, other than to end it all...
>>172016759
That's a part of the plan, I have a few open areas like this I can work with.
What furniture mod is that? I have decocraft but could always use some new comfy.
>>172016795
Oh, what's this?
>>172016832
Mr.Crayfish's Furniture Mod.
>>172016976
Shiny, Will add it.
>>172016891
Anyway, this is the Dark Realm. Only Shadow mobs and that one optional boss I fought before spawns here. There's nothing really here to do other than having a place to gather shadow gems and darkstone for decor.
And if you want to leave, just use the gateway key to spawn a portal out.
Please just end my suffering.
>>172017110
This is what the dimension looks like with night vision. I think this pretty much concludes AbyssalCraft. Sure there's still the Matterializer, but I think I've pretty much seen enough.
Do I recommend this mod? Meh, it's okay, but nothing too special, it's also VERY anti-climatic. If I wasn't fighting against Spice of Life and Tough as Nails, I would've completed this mod effortlessly.
>>172017621
One of the major cons about this pack that kinda destroys this entire mod is that EVERY helmet, besides for one gives an eye blinding night vision. And there's ZERO reason for it, because all the dimensions it adds are well lit.
I'm the only guy on the serber, whats happening?
>>172015108
That oughta do it.
Well this also concludes Mossynet Sunrise, because I'm going to delete this shit off my harddrive.
This modpack is SHIT, don't play it.
Adding some life to the planters.
>>172018219
>3 block high ceiling
anon pls
What qualities are required of a mod before it can be called a "magic mod"?
>>172020313
no "machines" that use "electricity" type of power
unrealistic tools
dont explain mechanics fully because its "magic"
>>172020313
If it adds any amount of sparkles and monsters, it's a magic mod.
>>172020360
RotaryCraft is a magic mod then?
>>172020431
no, I just forgot to include some more aspects
i have a bukkit server, and crops and trees grow nearly instantly when i plant them
i want them to grow at the regular slow speed
any ideas?
>>172018280
How high should a ceiling be?
>even 1.8.9 has more mods than 1.10.2
>>172022587
For a "normal" building, I'd say minimum 3, max ~9
3.5/4.5 are nice too
>>172022587
4 is the bare minimum. Anything less is claustrophobia-inducing tier.
>>172022674
>more mods == better version
my sides
>>172023991
>S-So what if other versions have more mods! 1.10 is s-still viable!
Lol yeah you sound soooooo confident.
>>172023991
Yes, that is the general jist of it, mods being the only thing that matter.
Hey guys, anyone know if there's a way to get on 1.11.2 with the ftb launcher? Even just a modpack that I can remove all the mods from with 1.11.2?
Through an unfortunate turn of events the FTB launcher is the only way I can log in.
>>172016225
now now that's just cheap
is it too late for you to spawn another one of these to see if it has any interesting attack patterns?
Is it possible to enchant the Atomic Disassembler?
I tried it in a test world in creative and it worked but when I try to do it in my main world it doesn't work. I've tried regular Anvil and Dark Steel Anvil
Most posts I've found on google said that it should work
>>172029445
Cheat the enchants using NEI's thing?
>>172029445
Either NEI or WAILA has a shortcut key to show all possible enchantments for an item. I think mine is mapped to U but you might want to check your keybinds to be sure.
>>172011315
that's a great question anon. one that, unfortunately, after 1.7 having two years of active mod development, still has no fucking clear and concise solution to resolving and downloading dependencies to a respository. for some fucking reason.
so you can do one of two things. blindly fumble through the process and fuck up until it works, using whatever poorly written or halfway useless information you can find, OR you go to one of the couple modding IRC channels and ask people I guess.
>>172029687
>still has no fucking clear and concise solution to resolving and downloading dependencies to a respository. for some fucking reason.
Actually, CurseForge now provides their own Maven with every mod hosted on Curseas long as you have a Curse account.
>>172030082
that's great, but do they actually have documentation on how to for example put NEI support into your mod? or at least run NEI in a development environment without bricking MCP and having to start overfor the third time

Only microblocks there are the horizontal strips by the window on the very left, and the desk.
God dammit modders.
When FoamFix actually does something usefull under all its memes and the developers seriousness of a current president.
The way it prevents redundant data in ram, like using pointers to the same model data. So simple, yet no fucking modders do it.
I can fast ravel around a RTG terrain or other shit that piles on memory usage and it will now take longer before it becomes inoperable.
>>172033883
Then what mod adds those thin lamps? Also are those pencils on the desk from Decocraft?
Is there a mod that spawns structures with loot in them for 1.10.2? Something that uses normal dungeon loot, and not customized ones like roguelike dungeons.
I used to like the houses spawned by techguns, but unfortunately no techguns for 1.10.2 yet.
>>172034397
>lamps

Yeah this mod is a thing.
>>172036926
Why is 1.10 filled with those small retarded mods that add zero depth?
>>172037272
They always existed, but now are more visible
>>172037562
They became more visible when people tried to compete with the thousands of mods fron 1.7.10 by advertising them and saying "hey, why do you cry about TE when heres yet another clone of it".
Anybody know any of the admins for Polandcraft? I chopped down a tree and got banned for having a hacked client (only mod I have is a minimap which hasn't ever been an issue).

AE2
Buildcraft
CoFH shit (thermal expansion, foundation, and recycling)
EnderIO
IC2
Immersive Engineering
Magneticraft
Mekanism (base, generators, tools)
MFR
NuclearCraft
Railcraft
if available, just assume i've got any compatibility patches. the game works with them all together the way i have it set up, no extra ores or tools, but i'm pretty sure i'm going to run into "typical generator X is the same tier as generator Y from the other mod but way better, so fuck that" kind of thing. i like multiblock structures which is why i'm fond of nuclearcraft (after i removed some of the bullshit it adds) but any anons want to either recommend what to drop or what needs to be changed to balance it out?
>>172103489

add immersive integration, it has a couple creature comforts.
you can safely delete everything from thermal <whatever>.except foundation and CofHCore. Cofhcore adds the RF API and other useful tools you'll want to have. foundation is a foundation for oregen and other shit. the ores are the more useful base, so you can disable like 90% of other ores from mods
enderIO cheeses item transport as badly as thermal <the one that adds ducts>. some of its stuff is fun though, so if fun matters more than balans leave it in.
mfr is the king of single-block solutions to problems, which deletes creativity. delete it for sure.
you can probably live without mekanism. its painfully difficult to fit into anything.
i like the idea of magneticraft but it was never finished and the 1.7 version is -- surprise -- abandoned. I found the unfinished feeling of its features not worth the mod's weight in FMP dependency.

Equivalent Exchange is an alchemy mod for fags that only know about alchemy from fullmetal alchemist

Im thinking of making an extremely endgame mod much like avaritia. What are you anon's thoughts about disgustingly end game stuff that is extremely overpowered. Do you enjoy the grind for it? Do you mind grinding for items that are basically only useful as status symbols (expensive but limited functionality, or extremely expensive and far more powerful than anybody needs it to be)? What is a more interesting concept: intergalactic dominatiom through extremely advanced tech or omnipotence through the study of very powerful magic. I have a few great ideas in mind but I dont want to share anything until I get my feet off the ground.

What are some ways to design and build your base to reduce any potential lag? Where does the lag come from? Is splitting things among far away chunks the only way?

Anyone know if local weather and storm fronts would work well with tough as nails? As in snow in the appropriate season, etc.
>>172178808
Dear fucking god.
>>172177782
Lag usually happens because of the rendering of too many tile entities and too many events happening at the same time. The perfect, albeit vanilla example, of the latter is Etho's Nexus, a massive attempt at an AE item retrieval/system that usually lags him whenever he comes close.
The easiest way to deal with lag in general is avoiding the use of too many tile entities as decoration. The same applies to multi-polygon blocks like most items in Decocraft (there's a reason why it's called bloat).
Another way is to keep machines and pipes from crossing over between chunk boundaries, but this only applies to players with stone-age toasters or players with really extensive piping systems. Although it is recommended to split things far and between, it is a bad idea to stretch piping to as long as 64 blocks away just because you want to split your base up.
tl;dr: Tile entities and blocks with non-block rendering can contribute to lag, and splitting up your base only works if there isn't that much piping involved.

Do you have Traincraft or Row or only Railcraft?
>>172188930
Only Railcraft. The only reason I got Railcraft was for the Wild West flavor. Well anyway, here's a lowdown on the whole route.
There are only three stations: the Wild West town, the Japanese town to be built up north, and the Vanilla village down south. The Wild West and Japanese towns are separated by really wonky sand dunes, and they fucked up any idea of trying to make the tracks aesthetically pleasing. In comparison, the rest of the course is better laid out, but most of them are suspended a few blocks above ground level.
Really need help in trying to improve the rail routes. No problems in making more rails because both iron and wood are easily farmable.

Mineshot really complicates things. The trains of Traincraft look really good, but tracks do not render at all if you use Mineshot. Fortunately, the trains themselves (or at least the locomotives) render normally. Alternatively, I could use a mix of Railcraft and Traincraft (as normally done when both mods are in a single modpack), but that doesn't really fix the Traincraft tracks rendering issue.

There is a port of the original Aether for 1.10.2. It's not quite the same, it doesn't seem like they were able to lock the day/night cycle to the sun spirit, but it's still a pretty faithful version.

Still trying to deal with the Mineshot-Traincraft interaction issue as well as the fact that Traincraft rails cannot go diagonal.
I just made a fuck you tunnel to streamline the route to the Japanese town and will use certain blocks (Brown or Gray Cobblestone for gravel ballast and Dark Oak for spruce platforms) to mark the location of non-rendering Traincraft tracks.

What's the problem? There are actually rails and cars there but not rendered? Weird, that only happened to me if they were a few chunks away.

Only the rails (including sloped tracks) do not render. Locomotives render as normal, as do Buffer Rails.

Boring mod, how could you replace ic2 with the "vanilla of tech mods"?
Besides, icey jew experimental is pretty different from old ic2.

I just realized that I have no mod that adds aluminum (for alloying alumite in TiC)
What mods add aluminum?
>>172223159
TiC does
>>172223159
If you are in 1.7.10, TiC adds it. If you are in 1.10.2 alumite doesn't exist anymore (aluminum brass still does, but you can make casts using gold).
Either way, Immersive engineering and smegdreck both add bauxite.
>>172223159
Have you tried aluminium, the bong spelling, or bauxite?
Either way, turn on oredictionary names so that you can avoid stuff like that.
>>172223257
>>172223294
I'm using 1.10.2. Alumite was in the "Materials and You" book due to PlusTiC but when looking up the recipe for Alumite there was no Ore. Only way listed to get it was using bees
I fixed it by adding Thermal Foundation and changing the OreGen to add Aluminum

>>172261856
Never heard of it. Got a link or care to elaborate?
>>172263081
Never heard of what?
Use opencomputers robots and write a program that lets you search for IE ore veins, specifically uranium, then have them autobuild an excavator.
Uranium for fucking months.
>>172263350
Robots might not actually work, thinking about it.
Never used them because their nei recipe is broken, just assuming they work like cc turtles.
If not, just make a platform using one of those frames mods that has an open compst computer on it and a coredrill, with equipment to make an excavator.
>>172263350
Didn't even know that was a thing I could do. But couldn't I also use ender quarry from extra utilities to do something similiar?I suppose it's more realistic that my uranium supply is limited if my city is going ostensibly going to exist at the end of time.I could also spawn more when the map eventually runs out, but that's kind of the same question of when the sun's going to go out.
>>172263606
Ender quarry wouldn't make nearly enough uranium to power you forever, one uranite vein would keep you good for an almost endless amount of time, you realisticly wouldn't need the magical finder thing, but it'd be cool.
