OTK roach was the only deck where I actually spent hours looking back at my replays and asking myself what I could have done better. I know for a fact I wasn't the only one. Many of you in this thread did the same and would post replays frequently asking for advice when you got stumped. I wouldn't be surprised if not a single sword player has ever done this. Not even once. This midrange sword deck nets a better, more well rounded winrate than otk ever did, and for how much work? You just play your storm minions on curve over and over again. If you win, great! If not, oh, too bad, you didn't get the best draws so it isn't your fault. These is no "oh, I could have improved this play".
There is no debating if you should play out the incomplete combo, just to scare your opponent away from playing seraph, or going face when you can't remove their board. You just drop albert and hope for the best.
There is no critical decisions on the combination of may, wotf, and pixie mischief. You just play tsubaki and then go face.
You don't hold onto a card because it will be useful to you 5 turns later. You just play your minions on curve. It will work out for you 55% of the time, and when it doesn't? No sweat! There was literally nothing you could have done. No room for improvement! It's not your fault!
Many people here say otk had a win rate of 70% but that is false. One master ranked player had that win rate and everyone else had a 52% at best. Funny right? A guy who practiced and analyzed his deck, constantly perfecting it and studying his replays managed to get a 70% win rate. Isn't that what you want in a card game? A skilled player, who puts forth effort wins the majority of the time while everyone else playing his exact deck has the win rate of a coin flip? That is what every card game should strive for. But they killed it, just so the average joe who couldn't care less about studying a game can win automatically 55% of the time. As long as he's climbing, he's happy.

Your late game is entirely up to you. Guardian Golem spam is a good one to stall out most games until your opponent is in topdeck mode and then overwhelm with 3/3 Wards. Satan and Olivia can help this process.

You definitely want 3x Calamitious Curse, 3x Levi would be useful, and the 5 mana card that performs ER - put 3 guardian golems in your hand

I always seem to have the most options when playing Control Blood or Forest.

Forest has a lot of plays you can make each turn because you run a lot of low cost combo pieces and tokens, meaning every turn you make an active decision of how much you feel you need to commit versus what you need to save. Sometimes you have to drop fairies on the board, sometimes you have to play nature's guidance just for the draw, sometimes you have to roach a follower instead of face. Tempo is probably the most straightforward of all forest decks, but PtP definitely had the highest skillcap. Wolfbolt is closer to PtP in difficulty but slightly easier to play and roach is kind of the middleground between Tempo and Wolf. I don't like the idea of them introducing too many strong solo cards and giving less combo pieces as it kind of ruins the playstyle of forest, even if it makes forest less garbage in arena.

If you run a more aggressive control blood setup then there's a lot of decision making in how much HP you can leverage and certain ways to dip down into vengeance and then heal yourself out of lethal. Unfortunately I think blood moon is going to lower the skillcap of blood quite a bit since you can get your vengeance activator for free, and also have options with the death mask amulet to protect yourself from OTK or self-damage so its makes the deck less risky overall.

I don't think you understand what netdecking even means
You're assuming there's this wealth of untapped potential and deck archetypes that would come forth if only those dirty netdeckers would think for themselves. The issue is that most of the casual players wouldn't have created any magic meta shaking archetype and "professional" players are already looking at ways to do just that from day one of the expansion. There are rarely new archetypes that come out in ANY CCG after the meta has been established, even in massive games like MTG due to the interactions and mechanics being worked out early.

What you're basically upset about is that certain decks are stronger than other decks, and you don't want "netdeckers" playing those strong decks. Which once again leads us back to the question, what do you want them to do? Gimp themselves so there's more diversity on ladder? That's not an issue with the players, it's an issue with card design.

I am just really unlucky in general. I either get no legendaries or get bad ones like Fafnir.
I had to craft most of my useful legendaries, because I rarely ever get one.
For instance in the last two weeks I opened about 25 packs and the only legendary I got was Dragonsong Flute, which I already had 2 times.

Nothing, there is literally no deck that has a significant advantage over midrange sword. It's worst matchups are still like 45% winrate which means swords still has a good chance to win the match.

Every idiot who thinks that roach or Daria was as bad as sword is now is just a swordfag in denial. Those decks had consistent counters and in many cases WERE the counter to midrange sword until cygames decided sword needed to be tier 0 again.

It's extremely expensive, yes. If you're willing to buy amazon coins for a discount, you can probably drop $50-100 max off that total. The $50 preorder pack they have would on average net you two legendaries and enough dust to make 1-2 more. Enough to make a single quality deck at most in all likelihood, unless you're willing to run budget versions for a lot of other things.

Forcing aggro to trade will kill aggro as well. A better solution would be to give aggro decks more power to consistently put out many cheap, small, powerful followers with a smattering of game-ending threats to be used on turn 6-8.
There are many cards like this already, but they seem to be pushing more towards single threats with storm. I want to say they're doing this so they don't have to give every class a board wipe, but pretty much every class already does or can answer a filled field with its own, so I don't know.
