Man, I knew something was fucking up when I was comparing an older images I have to new ones I saved like this >>171784717 that have compression artifacts. There's a part of the all_param2.php, id6, that shows you a version without the shitty compression, but also gets rid of the background. Let me attach it here to make comparisons. It used to be that you got the non-shittily compressed versions from things like the Twitter link or checking what a DG was wearing; I don't know exactly when they made this change. I'll look into a way to get images from the server that aren't shittily compressed but also include the background.

Of course, there are ways around that in the meantime. Like usual, you can use the all_param2 urls to get most of the image by changing id6 to 1 instead of 0, then using the following URL to get the background:

(# are where each individual number of the whole ID number for the backgrounds go; the "fluff" characters in between them are necessary now, but they can be whatever and are just asterisks here)

Then you just put them together with whatever image editor you have, like pic related.

It might be the case that there is no single composite image that is not shittily compressed; if you look at the way the DGs are put together whenever you visit a room, you'll find that it's just a bunch of layers put together. So, this might be the only way to get non-shitty looking versions with images from their server. Or you could just take a screenshot...it'll probably be easier.

Upon further review, it's actually just the case that it has always been shittily compressed. The method in >>171789403 will still give you nicer looking images, though. Use whatever built-in thing your browser uses to inspect page elements to make it easier on you to find things like background IDs.

Just play actively with with the golden rule as you would any game. Helping, talking, and recommending people's multiple boys gives exp, you can do this with your friend list and the random visit button til you hit daily limit. Befriend active returners that give fully slot-stacked recs, try to check often enough to remove the recs for more to reach the daily rec limit. Work or study your boys as often as possible, keep them doing tasks til they collapse at 100% tiredness, there are no repercussions to this. I set mine to a final round of daily work before I go to work, they finish and put themselves to bed and are refreshed by the time I get home.

If you don't have time for this then going through the random visit button and recAlling + Talking to abandoned boys will get you 15 exp a pop with full outfit slots, you could spend 10 minutes on this. Buying two packs of slot transparents (for back and front slots) for one main boy is a worthwhile purchase with all those free coins if you want your boy to remain aesthetic.

Ranking rewards are made to drive people to get a top ranking. The fact that they're so limited gets more people to pay for more in the short term. Releasing them sets a different precedent as a result, upsetting the oldest players who worked hard to get them, and making them less unique. Later players will go "Oh, I'll just wait for AMB to re-release that outfit in a gacha", and get less money per event over time.

Unrelated question about ranking but wouldn't buying the daily 100AP three energy drink pack every day be cheaper than throwing AP at the tie-up gacha hoping for a tie-up?

Back when the three-packs were limited to only 5 (15 drinks) per event, it would take 30-40 drinks without tie-ups to just barely make top 30. With daily drink packs, that much could be built up in the time of one event. I'm not sure how much the meta's changed since they made it 1 pack a day, but with it easier to gain more energy drinks, that would also mean more drinks spent, especially on a really competitive event.

It's still more expensive to roll the gacha, though.

I haven't been here in a long time. Lots of people don't seem to play anymore. Is it true for normalfag players too? Does the user base [for MCC] continue to grow or did most normies switch to DG when it came out?

I remember you could get away with a lot back during MCC's first year or so, as long as you weren't costing them money like with ticketgate. But with more people, there seems to be more possibility of pressure on Ambition to take some kind of action when people get riled up about something. Like with outfits getting censored or that guy that made the Nigger account with a myroid named Ebola-chan. Ambition doesn't care until people make a big fuss, then they cave and try to do something to appease them, like changing Nigger and Ebola-chan's name.

Just curious, really. I just can't help but wonder if MCC would ever go back to the comfyness of less users online at the same time. Although Ambition would probably shut it down if it got too low compared to the other games, and just save their shekels instead of continuing to translate material from Jap MCC.

Yes. I have over a hundred chat refills and you should too. I will be getting my favorite girl to max affection or close to it this campaign with them. Try to use them all gradually over a few days during kiss mode boosts, which doubles the already doubled campaign. This is also a good chance to finish off getting the new voice personality achievement awards. When they brought up these new voice achievements I saw I automatically achieved 10 on all types, just takes a bit more talking to get the 15 achievement per type. And if you don't already, maybe get all 4 girls to the 3 heart affection (50,000+ affection) since it looks nice.

They really are. FD always has the best hairstyles and wigs; they look natural and suitable for the whole fairy concept. Most of MCC's wigs (especially the newer ones) are overly cartoon-y. They often take up too much room and make it difficult to coordinate accessories with. Actually, FD also has the better hair gacha system - if you roll, you get one randomized bangs and one randomized hair in the same color. Having two large gachas with every style and color combined makes it impossible to get what you want in MCC.

I wish we had more short messy tomboy hairstyles in MCC.

More on the JP event:
Got an actual time for graduation, happens after the second week of February. Also, looks like each type's storyline is basically fixed to 13 scenarios, 5 noon, 5 after school, 2 holiday, and 1 graduation event. Looks like you need to finish the first three noon and after school scenarios to be able to see them on the holidays, though that part I'm still not completely clear on.
These scenarios also don't change, so for example the first Cool after school scene is always at the Library and has the same dialog, and Yandere's first after school scene is at the Courtyard. This means a Cool roid won't change their after school position until you view their scene there, and if you then change that myroid to Yandere, their position will change and stay on Courtyard until you view that scene or change to another type. You can also switch types while viewing the scene from the stages (as in, not from the memory album) and it'll automatically change to the new type's equivalent scene, and jump location accordingly. This also means the scene you see id based on how many you've seen with that myroid, so you can see Tsun noon 1, default noon 2, etc. on one roid, but not Tsun noon 1 and Default noon 1 on the same roid.

Anyway, Since you start on Dec. 1st week and end on Feb. 2nd week, and each month is 4 weeks, and each week has 2 class periods (stages), there are 20 stages pr cycle, enough to max 2 roids and a bit more.

Once you see all the events for any particular myroid, you'll only see the last corresponding event (noon 5/after school 5/holiday 5) if you choose to meet with them again. Also, Shara and Miyu have their own thing where though it's the same system, they're all numbered with the same name (Episode #) instead of noon/after school/holiday. Episode 1 is a noon scene, Episode 2 is an after school scene, 3 noon, 4 after school, 5 noon, 6 after school, 7 holiday, 8 noon, 9 after school, 10 holiday, 11 noon, 12 after school, 13 graduation.
Also, you get a big page of Miyu and Shara talking to you after each playthrough finishes where they talk about your return to reality from that world line, and how it was like, but if you took Miyu or Shara's routes, you'll get a different page where it's only Miyu or Shara talking to you.

Wonderland isn't much more story focused than say the ninja one we had not too long ago, or the marriage one a while back, or the sports one with the special moves a long time ago, just to name a few. The only interesting thing about it in terms of complexity is they combined a quiz event with a new progress-limiting mechanic, while also making the event gimmick switch depending on stage.
In general, battle and cooking events are more complex than wonderland, and from what I hear some of the oldest EN events were even more complex. Honorable mentions to the cat/dog one for equip-based dialog, and the survival game one for some sort of different battle mechanic, but neither were too different from normal. Nothing else really stands out from what I can remember off the top of my head.

Only the MyRoid you're idling on will take part in the story, so either you exit the event and switch to another MyRoid or have to wait until you loop in order to see everything, that's way more "complex" than your standard press to advance events and normal players that won't think about exiting the event, switching girls and going back wouldn't have been able to see the story if it didn't loop.
