Mechanically soeaking, yes it (mostly) is, but technically not every weapon has iron sights. Most technically don't.

Again, smart scope is dumb, but the problem with calling it iron sights is it gives the very people defending it ammo to use against you

I will agree that it has parts of ADS, but it's like a hybrid of ADS and Halo zoom. And not all guns have it, many have classic zoom like the sniper, beam rifle/h2 beam rifle, CE pistol, h2 br, regular BR with classic scope, DMR, tactical pistol, SPNKR, and probably a few others I'm forgetting.

This is my favorite line out of the entire series. It's a lot of information to gather up out of one sentence and its delivered so nonchalantly, it's brilliant.

Yes but that was for technical reasons.
Keep in mind the 360 launched a year after Halo 2 released, so it was still popular even when the new console launched. In fact, it was the most played game on 360 until Gears of War launched. Anyway, the problem was that something about the way the 360 ran Halo 2 did things to the engine that resulted in the fog on backwash not rendering, like, at all, which kind of ruins the map, so it was pulled for that reason.

I'm sure someone that understands the tech aspects can explain it better than me, but it wasn't pulled because "OMG backwash is fucking trash lol"

Halo Wars 2 is super new and is the only game with an impressive population size.

5's is very small for a Halo game this long after launch, but you can (generally) still jump into games no problem at prime time hours.

MCC and Reach have small but dedicated populations that may leave you waiting just a bit, but not for too long.

Everything else varies between borderline dead (Halo 3, Halo Wars DE) and actually dead (Halo 4, Halo Wars 1)

Am I the only one who finds her completely lack-luster? Sure flame-hogs are cool but her hellbringers don't do anything new and other units don't have any new fire abilities so what was the point?
