Dumb question, but does a strength bonus on gear do anything if it isn't enough to increase your max hit?
Like if a max hit calc said I'd hit up to 28 with a fury equipped, and with a torture it'd still be 28, would that +2 strength difference (ignoring the other differences between Torture and Fury, just an example) do anything? For example increase would it change my average hit

so say you have a max hit of 25.05 without some arbitrary item, but having the item equipped increases the hit to 25.99, so over the course of a bunch of hits, you have a higher chance of landing that 25

These fellas are exaggerating a little when they say skilling is worthless for gold, it's nowhere near the top money makers but it's still fine for people unable to do top-tier shit.
A good example is mining, a fresh level 3 could waltz into the Motherlode Mine, afk to 85, then make 350k+/hr there while jacking off to animu or something. It's absurdly easy.
Not great, but it's afk and requirement free.

Though Runecrafting is best in the end, sure. Downside is it's tedious, takes a long time to get going, and has other requirements (mainly agility, mining and combat levels if abyssing).

The reason they say that its not allowed now is because ahking, (even "legit" 1to1 inputs) was being picked up as botting by their automatic system. They were tired of people who were getting banned simply saying that they were using ahk instead of actual macroing which led jagex to lessen the amount of bans they needed to overturn. Pic related swore up and down that his ahks were 1to1 but still got banned.

Chances are you will not be banned but if you do get banned its going to stick. Because jagex does not want to say exactly what constitutes "ok" use you are better off just plying it safe and not using them.

Yeah, I'm at 80 RC so far and haven't had too many problems at 1 def, don't have to eat too often either.
Get high hitpoints first, and get a good mining/agil level. Most of the damage you take is between failed obstacle attempts.

Also get a ring of life, it's real handy should you get horribly unlucky or DC, and dirt cheap.
