Yes, use Narcian and his built in Triangle Adept Emerald Axe. If no Narcian, any green flier with triangle adept or emerald axe works too.

Michalis seems pretty good as a F2P version of Minerva
He misses a key kill on Nino without any form of attack boost and he'll never be able to one round Nowi unless she's running TriAdept, but he might do well with Life and Death as it boosts his speed to a respectable 31, allowing him to dodge doubles from everyone base 35 and below while still allowing him to survive one round against Takumi. Bonfire might be able to boost his damage to great amounts given that he can proc it every 2 actions

Definitely a standout compared to the previous GHBs.

Who is the worst friend in Fire Emblem?

Is it worth using the 3* Michalis for the extra SP for any skills he may need to inherit or just using the 4* outright?

Also, if my only 5* greens are Minerva (-Atk, +HP) and Julia, is it worth considering upping Michalis to 5* especially if I rolled other fliers (5* Hinoka and Catria)?

Dear /feg/.

I never played FE games before and Im playing Awakening now. Since its my very first time (out of similar games, I only played and cleared NDS Advance Wars games), I picked normal difficulty mode (despite people claiming that "normal" is in fact "easy" and "hard" being proper "normal"). Im not fan of grinding and avoid that if possible - problem is, Im extremely afraid of making mistakes which I would realize long after the fact and which would require me to start over again and only "normal" would allow me to freely fix mistakes like pairing wrong units and thus gaining wrong support points or training wrong units (except maybe playing with 3DS time settings to trigger normal Risen spawning without having to wait for next day).

But when I tried to recruit children as soon as possible (in chapter 14) and tried Severa recruitment mission, I got my ass kicked hard. Again, I play on "normal", which should be "easy" according to people. I had two level 15 characters in Dark Flier classes, with everyone else around level 5 in advanced ones.

Does it mean that Im too shit to play FE games? I enjoy Awakening but this makes me feel really, REALLY bad.

Unique weapons are the difference between good and bad units in the majority of cases. Simply having an extra skill in the weapon (And the stat boost) is enough to make units great. If Camilla got a unique Brave Axe, she's probably be great.

I would recommend starting with perma-death in future, you're denying yourself the true FE experience. Doesn't matter if you restart chapters for perfect clear or ironman, either way should enable perma.

Generally the earlier you recruit the mothers, the easier the kids' chapters are. Owain's and Kjelle's are among the easiest for example, and Gerome's, Severa's, and Inigo's are really hard and packed full of promoted units. There are a couple of exceptions though. Cynthia's and Brady's are really nasty for how early you recruit their mothers.
