How do I get smarter at the game? I'm DMG at 400h and my aim is pretty good, so I usually drop about 30 kills and win, but my play isn't quite where I want it to be. I can't really get my head around the tactical parts of the game and I get shot in the side or back a lot.

you know, I've played some more and it feels incredibly more obvious that there really are some cheaters there, especially since you've got the spectate option and it just kinda lays them out. it's so easy to spectate somebody for five seconds and see if they're cheating whether they're being blatant about it or not. reporting them gets them banned. hackers in prime mm get banned in less than an hour usually. esea bans people every single day because you can add people to your suspicious list. it's so easy to report and get suspicious people banned.

So I'm at a dilemma. I hit global about 7-8 months ago. Turns out a friend I was playing with almost every day 2 months prior to this started cheating to try to hit global after I did, (he was smfc) and got banned, I deranked to lem because I lost like 40 wins, and stopped playing for 6 months.

Came back after 6 months and have only played 1 mm game to get my rank, am now LE, but have only been playing esea.. My flicks are fine but I struggle tracing people, like a lot. I also went from 1200dpi and 2 in-game to 400 1.6 in-game.

Am C+ esea.

Any help on how to get my aim back other than practice?

How hard is it to get out of SEM? For one game with good teammates who communicate and throw smokes, I get 3-5 games with children and throwers.
Do I just grow the balls of steel and try to make plays for mvp stars?
Most of the time bad teams don't watch angles and I get killed from the side. Do I just pretend that I'm alone if I encounter a bad team?

Play in 1v1 servers and focus on how other people move and shoot. They are usually nova-DMG, so it'll get you that far at least.

If you're confused about stuff just ask. Most people who play in 1v1 servers will be nice enough to answer questions.

It's all fine motor skills, if you play enough games and use cover defensively you'll learn proper counter strafing technique.

You don't even need private cheats to do this. There are some p2h cheats the work on ESEA no problem with various hacks and if you are going to pay for cheats why wouldn't a cheater pay $6 extra to play in some leagues to see if they can get some money from it.

I'd love to use ESEA but with all the leaks, botnets, and unwillingness to be open about there fuck ups I can't trust them.

It's not like you will ever be extremely precise at it anyways because even through strafe movement resets, recoil doesn't.
Just spamming left and right quickly also works well enough and it's not exactly a bad habit either since moving like that is faster than trying to shuffle your timings with it. Use dynamic crosshair if you have trouble timing the shots to the steps.

Anyway, I dig into his account. Find a bunch of shit linked to his Faceit. Google the username of his Twitch and shit and I find his personal Facebook group from 09 where he was part of an amateur CS team. He had pics and shit, found his full name, found previous accounts and usernames. Find out this dickhead had 2 other accounts on Faceit. I find them both and both accounts are linked to Vac banned Steam accounts.
So I contact the mods on Faceit. Give them all the shit I have. All 3 of his accounts get banned. I'm fucking reeling it. I contact his friends to fuck with them, they say the bans are false but I fucking laugh in their face.
