What do you think Paragon's McCree ult will be like? Another lock on strong shot thing? I imagine fan the hammer will be in his regular kit. I can't think of anything else cool for a cowboy other than some sort of standoff.

I was talking to a friend about it being a lock down ability like a person in front of you gets locked in on a drawing stance along with you and you draw to shoot doing damage.
It can be used to trap someone or stop someone from using there abilities draw back being that if someone hits you it deactivates.
So it very situational.

a friend introduced me to the game, said it was smite with a z-axis. i have played mobas since 2006 dota 1 and i turned up my nose to smite.

i started with sparrow, got her to 5. i didn't spend any rep until i bought her mastery. that was dumb. i hated sparrow because khaimeras were everywhere. the large gain on my graph is from a friend and i doing a rampage jungle/narbash support/aurora offlane combo where we could influence the game hypothetically in every lane and create a snowball effect, compounded by amazing CC. imagine being hit by thunk, rock, and narbash ult consecutively (without their durations being clipped) while also being body-blocked by bashman and rampage. freelo.

So, I guess the answer to your second question is group up. My most recent win streak has been on the back of an affection for Howitzer and having at least one person to queue with if I so choose. Helps when we can force the minority 'No' on surrender votes when people cry at 15 minutes about the offlane t1 going down.

A lesson for those who haven't realize that giving up early 80% of the time during the beginning because one team mate is feeding the other to end game quicker is retarded.if you can hold them off till end game on the 40min mark your team can still turn it around all it takes is a team wipe to turn mistakes into miracles.
So don't give up and believe in the team.

The point in witch a character becomes dangerous. For most off Laners this is level 5. For there ult gives them leverage of some form. Like greystones second life.
ADCs usually hit there big power spike at the 46cp area. Where they cone online and begin to dish out scary auto damage.
Mids don't really get a power spike but remain strong through the whole match but not oppersive

This is accurate. To expand upon that, certain heroes are going to be stronger at certain portions of the game than others. Feng Mao and Rampage jungle is amazing early game that can bully carries but they turn into little more than supports by late game, whereas Sevarog is going to be tissue paper early and a death machine late.

Being in a solo lane means you are going to have an impact at level 5. Seeing a Yin go in the offlane makes me lose my shit, because she is actually quite strong, as anon said, after the 45 CP mark.

As for the build order on my Grux deck, you'll be wanting to go with the Stalker's Siphon start for the sustain in the jungle. Afterwards, you'll want to stack up on all those Madstone Gems, it'll keep him hitting hard until you can build more sustain and crit. However, after you've finished one Madstone Gem, get the Assassin's Ward, don't put any points into and just keep building Madstone Gems. Once you've hit the second or third Madstone Gem, you can build the Curse of the Leech for the sustain. At this point, you can either get the other Curse of the Leech for the 25 lifesteal (which you'll get without actually putting any upgrades on lifesteal) or if you're really ahead, go for the Merciless. Once you got the Merciless stacked up, build the Redeye Nitro then the Blast Harness. At this point, you should nearly be hitting 60 CP, just put the rest of the points into the Assassin's Ward.
If you want, you can squeeze a dummy ward in the deck too. The Strike Token is there for the early game, in those moments where you have empty item slots and 1 CP but can't build an item just yet.

You'll be deleting enemies with the deck, just keep in mind that you're really squishy.

Appreciate the input. I had suspected I was doing better with the siphon start, but I have been starting with Redeye Nitro, then a Spear of the Rifthunter, Blade of Agora, second Spear of the Rifthunter and then a second Redeye Nitro and it seemed like I was too far on the extreme edge of a glass cannon build. 200+ damage auto attacks at something like 0.3 speed made me feel like a chainsaw, but there was very low survivability if the charge didn't fully get me out of range.

Would you consider yourself especially good with a particular character, /vg/? What are the essential Do's and Don'ts for that character that everyone should know?
I'd say my Countess kill-rate have improved since I realised I should be confirming at least my Dark Tide hits before bothering to ult: people can still find ways to escape if they have even a small amount of health left. You want to make sure the ult is going to remove someone from the field before you pop it. Early game, I suppose it's enough to use it to just scare someone off lane with low HP, but after your first couple of cards it's a waste to use it for that.

Last hit creeps with line tempo. You should not really have to use circle rythem for sustain if you are playing safely.

Apart from Ash of The Witch and damage, I don't really know how to build Iggy. My instinct says a Tempered Plate, but that's not going to fly on Monolith. Honestly, I've started building my Shadow Scroll/ Ability Pen last lately: focusing on damage (two small Staffs of Adamant) gets my clear going much faster, which helps me snowball, and it's more than enough early-game. He's fallen behind a bit. I mean his ult is like still the best in the game and his abilities have a lot of utility. Sparrows ult is great for team fights and Grimms ult is like a worse version of Long Arm, but slow shots are great for slowing people down and raping them. Twinblast got a huge indirect buff because he makes the best use out of Ash of the Witch. That attack speed buff just kinda normalized him hard, still think he's better than Grimm or TB tho.

I love setting up to defend a tower as Murdock, just throwing down three mines and daring someone to come near. He has some survivability with his knockback, and you can throw down a mine when fighting a melee to dance around. Buckshot's a great opener/ finisher, and his ult is probably tied with Sparrow's for best.

How much cp of armor is optimal for a bruiser build? I'm experimenting with my Kwang deck and I'm experimenting how much armor/health I should have to soak in the most amount of damage without going full tank.

I'm currently sitting at 350 health, 70 basic armor and 24 ability armor.
I also have 56 power, 33 additional attack speed, 12 ability pen and 10 lifesteal.

Basically what I mean is, I don't care how much virtual points I have and since they don't have a visible effect on quality of my games I say it doesn't matter as long as I can see that I'm getting better.
