Why do people misuse the term "tier 0" so badly? There's only ever been 1 case of tier 0 in this game, and it was pre Harvest/Home nerf PtP Elf (70% winrate). Nothing else even comes close. If you want to see what a real tier 0 format looks like, head over to YGO. Hell, Zoodiacs aren't even the worst case of tier 0. But, tier 0 in YGO/MTG isn't really that bad for the game, because techs and side decking actually exists in those games, rather than who draws into the broken shit first automatically winning.

Are you implying it's not balanced? Burn is broken as fuck in Eternal. Every fucking unga shit deck has the option of SCALABLE burn, so they can never be fucking ran over. Their early game is too strong, because they're an unga deck, and they have a late game that rival yours, because their burn spells deal as much damage to you as their mana, so a single top deck will gave you eating 10+ damage from hand at any time in the late game.

People haven't noticed it yet, but I think face dragon might benefit the most from it. If you think about it, Ouro's true value is realized if you empty your hand, so you always have something to play (him). Face dragon does this. They don't always get to turn 8, but they sometimes do, and demonic strike clearly has utility for a face deck.

I have played it. That's why I said sometimes the game doesn't last that long and why I said "maybe". But sometimes you run out of juice. I am sympathetic to the argument that Ouro would just dilute your deck with a card that doesn't add to the low mana go face game plan, but I don't think it's as cut and dry as he won't have any place there.
Admittedly he probably does have more synergy with some kind of mild ramp mid-range deck. I dunno if that will ever happen, though.

If you run out of juice an Ouro would not help you, the return effect isn't that useful as it sounds, especially because the opponent will just kill you between the returns.
Personally I run Imperial Dragoon as a last resort for similar purposes in face dragon. And Dragoon can do more damage than Ouro and it also wipes the opponents board, thus giving me more time to pull a storm card, so I see little reason to switch next expansion.

Match 1 (Sword goes 1st): Sword win on turn 10. Sword placed massive pressure on Forest throughout the game. Forest banked on a strong Elf Queen heal to even the game, but the above deck runs so few shadow generators Elf Queen could only heal about 10 HP. Evolved Albert sealed the game. Roland also proved to be troublesome since it rendered Silver Bolt useless.
Match 2 (Forest goes 1st): Sword win on turn 9. Once support cannon was played, Gawain -> Roland -> Sage Commander + Novice Trooper decimated any of Forest's attempts to regain board control.

Thoughts:
If the rest of Forest's unrevealed cards are not amazing, Roland will COMPELTELY kill Wolfbolt and OTK Roach decks and hurts Control Forest. These decks will need to run some form of amulet removal. PtP decks come out looking alright against Roland, but there's still the problem of Bahamut/Odin from Control Sword.
Otohime might not be worth running with Support Cannon. Your board space gets crowded with Support Cannon and Durandal the Incorruptible.
Don't know how I feel about Gawain, but he can set up strong plays like White Paladin + White Paladin + Sage Commander.
Building around Support Cannon seems at least semi-viable. You don't depend too much on Support Cannon since you have Otohime+Sage Commander and Evolved Albert as your other win conditions. Useless against aggro.
For Elf Queen to work, you need lots of shadow generators. Otherwise, she's just a Fairy Beast who comes out a turn later.

Lucifer is still good, I think. His heal does seem a bit meh considering Sibylla, but as a Saha pull he trades well, and if you play him out onto the board straight and they don't have removal, his evolve on the next turn pretty much wins the game. If anything, I think you can make the point he's a somewhat stronger card than Israfil.

Actually yes, because Albert is consistent, unlike Daria, which is why I have 90% win rate against swordcraft. Its very obvious what they are gonna do and when is Albert going to come out.
Albert is only one man by himself so he is barely an issue, unlike Daria who interacts with other cards, by discarding them, drawing them and making them free to use.

I'm not saying Albert is okay design wise, but if I had to choose which one of them is the bigger problem I would say Daria without a hesitation, and if you asked which one I would rather fight I would answer Albert withotu hesitation.

That's how I've played since release and I pity anyone that didn't play the game that way, especially those who fell for the "dust your entire starting collection and all your pulls to build a T1 deck" meme.

Exactly what I expected. I wonder if it would be worth it to run Altered Fate in Control Forest just for the shadow generation and draw. Even though you technically are drawing less than you had in hand before activating Altered Fate, since you are discarding a lot of Fairy tokens, it might not be that bad.

Also, I'd be interested in seeing how neutral Ramp with Ouroboros would perform against regular CSword (not the cannon build), if you don't mind.

I think another Faerie Queen problem is the max health in Shadowverse just being too low to make use of all that heal. To really make full use of it you have to get yourself down to health totals you never want to allow. So in most situations where you're playing safe Beast heals just as much. One bonus for Queen though is that you can heal without needing a big hand. Reflecting on it, that's probably her intended role: to allow healing in a control forest deck that SPENDS its cards rather than refilling with lots of junk cards to always have your hand at max size.

I wrote a Python script that simulates the hand and deck of both players. There's a lot I need to do manually; when I play Fairy Whisperer, I have to enter in commands that add 2 Fairies to my hand. The board I simulate with paper and pencil because gameplay interactions are too complicated to quickly code.

There is no relation to GBF
Many of the cards that you play are from SnB. In GBF, there are re-imagined version of SnB characters, with the same name and similar appearance, but it isn't actually the same character. So there's no actual relationship with GBF, SV just has SnB characters and some of those characters also appear in GBF, but SV uses the SnB version of those characters. And there are no GBF-only characters in SV.

There's no point in having a million rupees and vials if I have to hate the game and waste time playing decks I don't want to play and taking it as a job. I have the decks I want for now and the game is very generous. That was the count for ONLY logging in and not doing anything else and also not counting promotions etc. If you play a bit even if you don't do all dailies, you're bound to complete a few "win x matches", "evolve x followers" and get the score rewards and i still have to beat the single player content they added in recently for a ton of rupees + the free packs for the expansion drop etc.

Like, yeah if you want to craft every single deck including shit like saha dragon and stuff you need more, but I'm happy enough without every single deck in the game.

You know, Swordgirls was a fun F2P card game.

They balanced ranked mode fairly easy, by saying a deck can only have 251 points or less.
Every card was worth a set amount of points and if you threw in only super legendarie rares you had those 251 points filled out faster than you could see.
Nono, the limit actually made deckbuilding difficult as you had to build a competetive deck within a certain range of laws, not just spamming 3 Darias into a random rune deck and calling it a day
