The Revolver seems to do it in around three or four, but it has less range (by 4, iirc) than the Phalanx pistol.

Zaeed should have been a batarian. It would have made more sense since the first time the Blue Suns were introduced (in the novel-tie for ME1), they were stated to be a batarian gang that had only recently started recruiting humans.

Zaeed would probably be from a formerly wealthy batarian family that once owned many slaves. They lost everything though in the scuffle between the Alliance and the Hegemony. I think I'll just use it becuase "muh revolvers" but I'll be using cloak and invasion a good amount anyway so once I'm levelled up I'd imagine most weapons can be rape machines with all of those damage buffs/enemy debuffs. With Invasion the revolver will clean up regardless, it feels like a requirement to taking down the beefier enemies.

I'd suggest using Overload, I really cannot state how much I love it. The charge letting it jump to several targets (three before any ranks to increase it, I believe) will stun enemies for a good while doubling over humanoid ones for easy headshots, and can of course detonate any combos, so if your squaddies can start them you can get multiple combos with one detonation ability.

Combine it with Invasion's Virulence skill that causes an enemy to explode if they drop to low health while debuffed and you have a nice little "mad bomber" set up with just two skills.

Overload comes stick with the shock effect now huh? Damn that does sound pretty damn strong. I'll have to try it out. The last upgrade for cloak seems like a fantastic tool for insanity as well, you can regenerate shields will invis. Pretty cheeky.

Tech really feels like it got a boost in general.
The cryo beam and flamethrower abilities seem tailor made for "Oh damn you got closer than I wanted" And being able to hit several enemies at once makes them pair perfectly with Overload for lots of detonations. It really feels like it is THE skill for Tech.

So I figure longer range engements, you stick with infiltrator, with cloak and Invasion and whatever other ability you want (maybe trip mine?) Then as battle gets closer you switch to Sentinel or engineer and murder anything with lots of Combos that you can set up and set off yourself.

Tech certainly has more interesting powers than biotics this time around for sure. I think my infiltrator profile is going to be more of a close/mid range gunslinger type deal though, I always found snipping a bit dull. On top of that I'll probably have a more combat focused profile with a good amount of grenade type powers for quick aoe as they won't go on cool down when you swap, then a combo based pure tech one, and a sentinel with stuff like the turret and deployed cover for holding the line.

Well Biotics kept all their interesting abilities, Since they got them in ME2 and 3.
Biotics to me was always about hindering the enemy by making them floating or downed or just generally unable to fight.

IN Me2/3Tech ended up mostly just being like Combat and being a direct damage tree. Now Tech hinders the enemy through debuffs like Invasion, or stuns like the new Overload (more like Sabotage if you ask me) and feels much more like tech did in ME1. to me at least.

This. It really irks me that ME3 turned everything on its head.

In ME1 it becomes clear to Wrex that the genophage is not what is destroying the krogan. In fact he even states his outright soon after you meet him. He panics on Virmire but if you talk him down he quickly sees that curing the genophage will just cause history to repeat itself.

In ME2 Wrex seems to be having some success stabilizing the krogan by playing at politics to controlling access to females to force the other clans to behave themselves.

In ME3 if Wrex is alive he should be conspiring to sabotage the genophage cure to make sure it won't work. Perhaps trying to get Shepard to administer a placebo.

His brother, Wreav, should be the one who wants a cure.

The problem with the Krogan is that the moment Wrex dies, they are 100% fucked again. They'll just go back to getting themselves killed and end up going extinct.

If the galactic community really does want the Krogan to come back, the best solution would be to instead allow the genophage resistance to settle at a higher birthrate, one that would allow for Krogan to be their dumb faggot selves and die in droves for no reason but still have stable numbers for a new generation.

The problem with that is, if you get another leader that can generally unit the Krogan like Wrex, but he has more of a warlord, "fuck everyone we're taking over everything" bent to him it could fuck up the galaxy. And the Krogan would probably end up getting murdered to extinction anyway.

Long story short, The Citadel races doomed the Krogan to extinction when they uplifted a race that was completely unprepared both evolutionary and mentally to join the galactic community.

He explains in detail how he tried to get the krogan to stop fighting one another and breed instead. He literally says, "The genophage may have infected us, but its not what's killing us."

When you confront him on Virmire Shepard will even explain that curing the genophage will just make the krogan pawns of Saren anyway. You combine that idea with Wrex's earlier statements about it and it becomes clear that it is krogan culture that is destroying them.


Then you think about the system Wrex has set-up in ME2 where-in it takes a lot of persistence for females to produce young. If however the genophage were cured then only a few females in the hands of other clans could quickly swell those clans power and influence. Wrex's whole system, which seeks to change krogan culture away from violence and self destruction, would fall apart. He'd lose all leverage.


I know it is probably hard for you to exercise your brain muscles and think critically without just being spoonfed, but the reward is worth the effort.

Something most people don't seem to be aware of is that the Krogan Rebellions were a gradually, escalating series of conflicts. It wasn't just the krogan attacking the whole galaxy at once. Rather their population kept growing and growing so they kept needing more and more land. At first things remained peaceful because there were plenty of unoccupied worlds they could settle. However with time they started competing with races more and more until they eventually started just annexing planets already settled by other species. It was a dire necessity for them because their growth rate was just so huge and there would be no practical way to control it.

They never should have been uplifted in the first place because their biology was not yet suited for integration into the galactic society. However the cat is out of the bag already so either they need to be bombed into the stone age, with orbital platforms in place to bomb any cities they build that might develop space travel, and just left to their own devices.

Which would mean extinction on their hostile homeworld.

The real question you should be asking yourself is why are the krogan at all relevant in ME3? The genophage thing is a long-term problem for them. Even if you cure it they won't become strong over night.

In terms of the games plot they shouldn't really factor into it because they've been demilitarized now for more than a thousand years. They simply lack the infrastructure to really assist at all in the war against the Reapers.

What the galaxy needs is tons of combat-capable spacecraft, not ground shock-troops. The krogan are useless.

I suppose though that Bioware felt the audience was too dumb to understand something as complicated as "logistics" and of-course ME3 being the climax of the trilogy all plot-threads must be resolved even if it doesn't make sense.

The genophage plot probably should have been resolved in ME2 with what is already present in that game being expanded on a bit more and tied directly into the Collector plot.
