I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but the hunter enemies in the Hunter's Nightmare have a bit of a unique sound when they die from fire.
They scream.
Not their usual screaming or cackling, but the screaming that defines true panic and fear, almost like they're understanding the receiving end of Old Yharnam. Somewhere in there, it almost sounds like remorse. It's just amazing that that much detail would be added.

The popular meme on /bbg/ is that you should never level Endurance at all, but that's only really true if you care about staying in a low level range for PVP. If you don't give a shit about PVP and you're gonna level up forever then there's no reason not to take it to 20 or even 40. It's less important than Vit and damage stats right away but if you're doing NG+++++ or FRC chalices you need a lot of stamina.

How do you guys deal with rom when farming nourishing gems, do you kill all the spiders each phase or just in the first?

I always get one shotted by some random spider or by Rom when he is flailing around.

work out the timing for the first part so you can do absolute maximum damage. She only teleports away after a certain amount of damage so you want to pretty much hit that point but still have a full stam bar, ideally getting her to less than 1/3 hp which muhca huge difference to the difficulty of the fight. once you've done that work away at the spiders. pillars block her asteroids so take time to chip away any nearby spiders from a safe spot. You don't need to kill all the spider, just enough to zone out a safe way to get tot rom. I don't hit and run, I run in, see what attack she is about to do and make a judgement. if she thrashes around it's good, wait for that to stop and go to town, anything else move back and wait,

You can just yolo it and run in for 2 hits and evade but I found this failed often enough it just wastes time.

just got back into das3 and I have to say das3 has better pvp, but BB has better pve. That's not to say pvp is bad in BB, there is just way more variety in das. BB would need literally 10x the weapons to come close, eve though the few weapons you get are all really polished.

I'm really enjoying this NG+, especially the early areas before the forbidden woods and cainhurst. I know everything like the back of my hand since I used these same areas to farm in NG yet I have no feeling of repetition or it being a bore in any way. the game isn't nearly as hard as my first play through and I'm really slaughtering most things in my path. using new weapons really adds to the fun too. I just wish the item drops were updated more.

it's more like sometimes you will get the parry, but you have to not attack straiight away in order to get the visceral and with the latency online plus that delay you have to give you will often miss the visceral window, or think you never got the parry, start attacking and watch them stagger.

It's better than souls though, at least you don't have to right in peoples faces when you parry, so if you whiff it you usually aren't going to cop 2-3 hits. you can also parry people when they try to heal, so gunspamming them when they pull back is viable.

It's true. BB is just better, it feels better to play, the bosses are better, the weapons feel good to use, the sounds are all so satisfying the maps are all connected and full of stuff. BB even LOOKS better, somehow. The only thing DaS3 have over BB is armors and knights stuff, but if they ever make a hybrid with BB style of game, but Dark Souls theme of knights and shit, it would blow DaS3 out of the water.

That's of course, just my opinion.

Bone Ash set looks pretty cool with all pieces, but individually they don't match anything save for maybe switching out your helmet while still having bone ash pants, gloves and chest. Also the hat is impossible to use with any weapon that goes over your shoulder, the clipping triggers my autism. It also looks kind of like a striped grey spandex suit under some black rags.
White church set looks kinda plain and is outmatched in terms of design compared to other white cloth sets in the game like choir or executioner.

If you can get past the faults - namely the bad servers and balancing issues on some characters - it's actually quite fun. The combat is really interesting, some people liken it to a 3D fighting game although I don't think it's as deeply technical, it's quite different.

Peacekeeper is absolutely fucking cancer and the only people who like her are PK players. Nobushi is hardly any better. Warden is the go-to basic class and is considered somewhat OP.

Extremely fast compared to just about everyone else, can spam dodge attacks that wreck slower characters (maining conqueror is suffering for this shit) and has the ability, similar to Nobushi (naginata wielding Jap character), of inflicting poison which damages over time. PK is everything not fun to play against. Also the edgelord pssh nuthin personell kid assassinator type of character, so it draws THAT kind of person. Even the tacked on story mode has the PK as a lone wolf natural predator type.

Im not using my ps4 right now but the bowblade at the time was lvl6 i was using 50 skill/28 bloodtinge, i dont use it as a main weapon but since the giant is a pain in the ass i took it out. Either it's just me, or it feels like there should have been much more to Hemwick, or plans with Hemwick were scrapped. There's a building that looks almost like a fortress or stronghold past the Abode, up in the hills but before Cainhurst, maybe it could have been a Cainhurst outpost? Armory or storage for the Hemwick villagers? What even is the Abode as a building, we only see a small amount.
Personally, I think the Abode was a country hospital or clinic. The large amount of beds and bandages on corpses suggest that, and medical equipment could have been useful in the Witches' line of work, likely hunting for eyes.
