I made the horrible mistake of slapping Fury on him. Now my Eliwood literally fights only once before the battle becomes a 2v4 because I'm using Jagen for the Arena bonus and he's terrible outside of his cav buff, while Eliwood will be too low on HP that he'll die to anybody that can counter.

Desperation from Shanna will fix that but it will take a while for me to gather all that SP.

Some people (not me though) don't use unpromoted Archers so they might just use Innes instead of training up Neimi. Also Garcia and Ross joining at the same time coupled with SS being piss easy might sway some away from training up Ross. At least you actually had an incentive to train other Axe units besides Hector in FE7 because there were so many Lance enemies in that game and it's actually challenging at times on higher difficulties.

I don't know if anyone else pointed this out yet, but the version of With Mila's Divine Protection playing here is different than the track that we have in full right now. And it's not the victory version since the map is still full of enemies.

Which means, there will be different variations of each song.

Ok, so the way Barblade works, is if you have any buff, it also boosts your total damage by that same amount.

So, if you have +4atk, that translates to +4 damage on your attack.

With Hone and Fortify Cavalry, you get +6 to every stat.

So that's +24 damage right off the bat that is not affected by WTA. Then another +6 to atk from your buff that is affected by WTA.

So in most situations, it'll be a straight up +30 boost.

Yeah I can get what you're saying, but if they're just purely interested in breaking the game then Garcia and Ross are the absolute perfect support for each other and will take care of the entire game by themselves with no grinding required ever, and you'll be switching Garcia to bows immediately when he promoted to Warrior anyway. When it comes to bow using classes, Warrior is by far the superior choice. Innes has Roy's str growth, while Garcia will cap str and have good skill the vast majority of the time.

But either way yeah SS is so easy you can roll with anyone.

Ross needs some babying still though. His bases are pretty horrible though he does have access to the unique Pirate class if you train him up. He's the best of the trainees but units have pretty good growths and bases in that game, plus it's difficulty is a fucking joke. Fates did it best by having one track with just Calm/Roar variations. Awakening had to have the shitty enemy phase music and even if it had a roar variation it wasn't as good, especially since the enemy phases usually became much longer than player phases in later maps

I think the idea is that weapons only get to have one skill, and this one gets the +2 defenses when being attacked, which kinda makes sense. It's the same reason Tyrfing is complete and total garbage, and why I expect Sigurd to be crap in this game. Maybe less crap than Seliph though.

Nah, even then that's not really difficulty because by that time you probably have maxed supports for superior evade. The only real time there's difficulty is phantom ship and that one castle siege map with berserk staves (because fuck berserk staves). Everything else is a cakewalk, especially monster levels.

You are right about Ross's bases though, but if you're really paranoid about it the stage immediately after you get Ross has a bunch of enemies stuck behind walls without ranged weapons, so Ross can level for free if you're so inclined and feel like you should get some safety babbying in.

I mean I could understand the Binding Blade being just +5 defense/res all the time like it is in the game, but it's just a fucking +2 defense upon being attacked and has no range. It isn't even the Binding Blade anymore: it isn't effective against dragons, it has no range, and the stats it gives are fucking wrong. It was completely trashed. I imagine they consider +10 all stats would be stupid, especially when it's on all the time. Consider Corrin's Yato gives 4 speed on attack instead of +4 all stats, the idea is that every skill that a weapon gives is the level 2 version, and stats tend to bump up to higher levels if it comes with a situational use rather than being on all the time. That said, it should have been effective against dragons at least.

And I most certainly don't attribute the battle themes of previous games to their "main" or "dedicated" themes, that's for sure. FE7 is a mix of Winds Across the Plains and the Heliwood themes, for example.

Nope. Blarblade users are getting anywhere from +16 to +30 from their support groups. That 4 MT isn't worth 20k feathers for the average f2p player.

It's obviously an upgrade, but ultimately pointless. Besides, by the time you will have earned 20k feathers (regardless of your amount now), you may have pulled another Blarblade (or even Blarblade+) user and you'll have had enough SP to master the base and the + version and inherit then (a month from now).
