I think it's probably in some sort of archive file. What's weird is, the pointer for it looks the same as all the other ones that are working properly.

In these two .bars, Zelda's works correctly but Mipha's doesn't and it's pointing to some english file that's hidden somewhere instead of the normal voice folder.

Some of the demo_NUMBERS.bars specify a folder, from the looks of it. These stream_shout ones don't. That may be relevant in some way. If we alter the hex to add a pointer for the folders, such as Stream_Shout_Npc_Mifur then maybe that'll work.

I should run a search for that. Do you know any hex editor that searches multiple files? I forget which one I used last time, but it was a bitch to find.

My shit's 3.63, even thought I never went through an install for a firmware update.

Just restarted my PSTV and I'm left with a broken fucking theme, and some white bubbles that won't delete because they're corrupted or some shit.

Going to henkaku.xyz and trying to reinstall just says its not available for my firmware.

For fucks sake what is going on?

Gonna try a format and see if that does anything. I swear to fucking God I didn't install a firmware update. I have henkaku's DNS set so it shouldn't have been able to pull the update from Sony's server.

I'm so fucking fucked in the ass.

I could switch them around now, but I really can't be bothered. Plus, I use my updated Vita more than my 3.60, so it makes more sense to keep my bigger card in my updated console.

I think my sdcard is going bad or something. I hacked my 2ds last month on the 4gb that comes with the system, later I bought a 32gb, copy paste the data and download a bunch of games. Now I boot the system and there isn't any sign of Luma, FBI, etc When I put the microsd on the PC I can acess the memory and still have 18gb free. The old 4gb SD is working fine.

Also, how do I access the homebrew hacks when I turn on the system? I want to try to access it to see if it is a installation failure or what.

Tbh I had some weird shit happening this week, games sometimes would take longer to load on the homescreen, sometimes when I let the system idle it would crash and say something something SD card but I never bothered because I would restart and everything would be fine...

I have a hacked PSP Go, with Homebrew Enabler running on 6.61, plenty of PSP ISOs, emulators (SNES, GBA, GBC, etc), injected PS1 ISOs into EBOOTs (which don't work on Vita's PSP Custom Firmware Emulators surprisingly), and many random homebrewed apps (most of them really old, like calculators, shells, LUA emulators, a lot of stuff from 2.0~3.0ish days)

I also have a PS Vita, on 3.60
I haven't updated yet to the lastest, but besides Vita piracy (which I think is unnecesary for me, since I own the ~18 noteworthy games), is there anything regarding homebrew that the hacked PSP Go can't do and the Vita could? (I could still do it so I can do everything (PSP ISOs, homebrew, emulators) with just one console instead of doing some stuff in one and other stuff in the other, for convenience)

Or is the most noteworthy thing of hacked Vitas is playing dumped Vita games or using stuff like ARK/PSP stuff to play PSP games, PSP emulators and PSP homebrews, and not much on the side of homebrew that uses Vita's capabilities?

First run Luma updater if you have it installed, or do it manually by downloading the lastest and replacing the payload on the Luma folder of the SD.

Then you can update to 11.3 freely

So we can literally put a USB adapter with that card and it will work? Holy shit. BRB Getting a Vita TV.
>>
>>171360723
No. The only support for that is when you are doing a System Transfer, in which it asks you whether you'll copy the contents from the SD to the computer (because it will be cleaned afterwards) so you can copy them later to the target system SD, or if you want to transfer from system A to system B the contents wirelessly (which will take forever, seriously, DS wireless transfer rate is a mess).

Hbg please help me, I followed the guide installing homebrew channel on the original wii, but I can't get the wii to read my downloaded games.

I downloaded the games both on my usb and on the sd card hoping it will work on any of them.

I tried with gx usb loader but it doesn't read the usb and it cant find the games on my sd card.

Cfg usb loader does read my games in the usb but when I select any game "booting wii game, please wait" appears and then it freezes.

For more details, the games files are ntfs and the 3.0 usb is Fat32. I was going to use iso files for the games but I can't transfer +4gb files into the fat32 usb.

I don't know what is going wrong, getting to play pirated games on the 3ds was easier than this. What should I do hgb?

>>

Write speed when using my USB3.0 drive I've got kicking around was topping out around 4.5MB/s transfer speed over FTP, which while it's nowhere near max 2.0 speed spec it's still faster than I was getting transfering to the vita memory card(which would only do about 2.5-3MB/s).

So I imagine it should, by all means, read faster off of USB, too, but I haven't really tested it yet. Either way, the vita memory card spec was absolute fucking garbage tier for read/write and overall reliability.

It really depends on the game, it isn't like the PS TV has fancy filtering or anything. Most games will look the same as they do on the handheld. It can output in 720 and 1080.

Also, don't expect to be able to stream content with it really. Sony has pretty much abandoned the thing so none of the streaming apps work on the PS TV (plus if you stick on 3.60, you won't be able to access them anyways so I guess it doesn't matter). Some content can be streamed in the browser, but there are way better devices to use for stuff like that. Just get one to play Vita, PSP and PS1 games, not for multimedia stuff.

The whole series is fucking lovely. It's got charming characters, nice levels, and a good level of challenge while still being open to casual players. Also, it'll fuck you up at times. One of the best golf games/series you'll find out here. There's The Golf Club, that's relatively new. That one's more realistic, but it's also great.

I think Mario Golf is shit, so I'll tell you flatout that it's better. Also, just play Neptunia 1 or 3. They're all the same shit. Seriously. Repetitive, recycled, overall stale JRPGs.

Historically, this has been untrue. Back when Henkaku, Vitamin, and Maidump came emerged, this general was dedicated to getting dumps gathered and organized, also pastebins explaining how to set everything up(which are still in the fucking OP, by the way). Links to pretty much any recent dump were shared here, whether it was Vita or 3DS-related. In other words, you're full of shit. There is no restriction on piracy being discussed here.

How are you completely sure that Nintendo cant tell what device downloads from their servers, either using freeShop or FunKeyCIA? That they dont store info about what titles were downloaded by which console ID?

because Nintendo has no way of knowing whether a titlekey is legit or pirated. a titlekey is a titlekey.

if you format your 3DS and lose your titlekeys, you lose all your games even if you purchased all of them from the eshop. only way nintendo can "restore" them is by you providing proof of purchase which is your receipt.
>>
>>171396953

this is a lot more comfy than resting some tablet on my chest, and i'm not ruining my eyesight by staring at some tiny screen.

It doesn't really work like that. Freeshop and FunKey aren't hacks of the eShop app, they download from Nintendo's servers by connecting directly in the same way NUSGrabber works on PC. The only info that gets "sent" is your router's IP.

You can buy Wii shop games directly from Dolphin and play them. Why would you want to do this? I have no freaking clue, but it's still cool.

Only reason Wii online play is down for most games is because they used Gamespy servers and Gamespy went defunct. That one online Dragon Quest game for Wii is still playable.

Are there dumps of the PS1 games for PSTV? Like official shit from the PSN.

I wanted something so I could co-op with my kid.
>>
>>171399702
No.

If you want PS1 games on your 3.60 PSTV, you have to play them through a emulator like Retroarch or ARK. Retroarch has bugs in games. ARK is perfect except it has no sound.

if you're on 11.2 you can downgrade and install some CFW
>>
>>171325265
Here's the situation.

A friend of mine installed arm9 on his O3DS a while ago (I linked him the 3ds.guide), and by a while ago I mean like 1 year and half or so. No problems so far.

However, he recently tried to update to 11.3 only to get his 3DS bricked, and apparently he couldn't find his nand backup.

Lacking options to revive this shit, I decided to install the ctrnand 9.2 and now it works again.

However, trying to update will once again brick the system, I also tried to update the arm9loaderhax and it bricks when I move the arm9loaderhax.bin to the ctr nand folder using FBI, and then configuring luma without SD.

So right now his 3DS is alive, but stuck on 9.2.

What can be causing this, and how can I get past that firmware?

Not yet. For now the 3DS is in the same situation that the DS was when it came out. The DS was meant to be a sister system to the GBA, just as the 3DS and Switch are both being supported by Nintendo right now.
Obviously I don't expect this to last but remember that the GBA had games coming out until 2006, two whole years after the DS was released.

You're fucking retarded, there's even a new Nintendo IP coming that's a 3DS exclusive.
If the Switch effectively replaced the 3DS then why isn't that new IP coming to the Switch?

>replacing anything

3DS will be their damage control when switch bombs hard like WiiU did

that new IP will be a cheap project just like Nintendogs was a new IP

Ever since Nintendo merged their console and handheld branches, they are focusing 100% on the Switch.

>They only did that with the first game because they rushed the launch
They've already started their plans to do the exact same thing with the sequel.

It's not though, it's a brand new action RPG headed by the guy behind the SaGa and Mana series and the devs that were in charge of the 3DS Zelda games. Plus it was one of the games they made a big deal about at last year's E3.
