You get the two humans from the start. That's exactly it. Talking to Miranda and Jacob was a fucking slog and i don't think i ever went through a single conversation without skipping, while talking with Legion always felt so interesting. Even after i replayed the game i was always pumped to talk to Legion again and see his reactions. There's something about that robotic voice, the way he reacts and imitates shepard and his explaining of the reasoning behind the geth that i find so interesting.

In fact, you can bang ALL the ME2 squadmates in one playthrough after you finish the SM.

In some ways I prefer the ME1 way and in some ways I prefer the ME2 way.
ME2 does a good job of keeping it interesting but can keep you from getting the squaddies you really like until later on which sucks alot.
ME1 has you leave the Citadel with only 1 slot left and you can fill it on the first mission after. It gives the game a sense of the characters being with you through it all and doesn't keep the good ones from being lategame.
ME3 does a bit of both and does it pretty poorly. You get the majority of the roster in the first few hours but 2 slots remain open until you get Kaidan or Ash at whats pretty much the halfway point of the game and Tali comes after that.

Which made me salty as fuck because getting the "I love you too, Liara" felt like a proper reward for staying loyal. I don't see how Shepard saying it when they've only been together a few weeks in ME3 makes sense or "fixes" anything.

Finished the main part of the Citadel DLC earlier today, and I have a question. When you catch up to your clone in the Normandy's docking bay, there's a very short bit in the cutscene where you fight your clone. As a vanguard I got one where they both throw fat biotic punches and both get sent flying back from the detonation.

What happens with the other classes? Punch-out as a soldier? Knife fight if you're an infiltrator? Pokemon battle-esque confrontation with drones as an engineer?

Goddamn that vanguard clash was badass. Really I'm just curious how the others compare.
