The thing about Delita's BSB is that it doesn't have any real utility, it's just PHY damage (potency's fine, at least). Entry is 8 hits, commands are 4 hits in two different flavors (holy/fire or lightning/ice). The big rider to all of them, though, is that they do +100% crit damage instead of the usual +50% crit damage. So a hit for 2000 would be 4000 instead of 3000.

It doesn't do anything for his crit RATE, though, and the base is pretty low. And even when you do hit those criticals, damage can be wasted by hitting the 9999 cap.

Cloud's USB sets a pair of statuses: one adds +30% physical damage and allows PHY attacks to break the 9999 damage cap. The other status sets crit rate to 100%.

This essentially means that Delita deals double damage or higher with his BSB; most characters are stuck at +50% crits.

Ramza's Chant and Zack's Lucky Star (his Chain Soul Break that's out on the Cloud USB banner) are the only two SBs that increase Critical Damage for the party (there are more Crit Rate boosters)

The game's trying to push Zidane on me something fierce. Gave me both of his SSBs during the lucky draw, pulled his OSB a few weeks back from the previous DU lucky draw.

You'd probably need to dive him combat or support so that you can use lifesiphon or wrath to keep his BSB up. While he CAN do good damage, especially with his powerchain abilities, he's more wanted for his buff which stacks nicely with most stuff. But it's tough to invest XP eggs into him if you don't have a decent level party already, since he would at least have to be 92+ to survive.

To add a bit, you could dive with his physical spheres to get support 5* with a minimum 22 vitality and 15 bravery 3* motes to master Knight, and 25 vitality and 15 bravery 4* motes to master Viking, along with 1 OK mote for each of them. Unless I added wrong, which is totally possible.

Connected materia slots means that the two materia can be combined
Say you put Fire and All materia together and now whenever you cast fire you attack all enemies depending on the level of the All materia.
Another example is if you combine Elemental materia with Ice on your armor then now your character is resistant to ice element, or if you do it on your weapon then your character now deals ice damage with physical attacks
You can try out tons of shit, so experiment and have fun

You do the mote FFIII dungeon boss Ahriman and maybe he drops a mote when you kill him. I have no idea what the rate is, but that's the only way I know of. It's 1 stamina, but I can almost guarantee it won't be worth the time you have to spend.

I ain't gonna lie, I haven't played that in like 20 years so I can't remember what exactly it CAN work on, but I think it should work on pretty much any regular magic. There's materias to give your armors and weapons an element (I wanna say it's useful but it's Final Fantasy, you punch through everything and maybe Haste and Protect) and one for status effect so you become immune to shit like Poison or Petrify if used on armor or cause it if used on weapons.

Other than that all I remember is one called (I think) Final Attack and it's a materia that activates the linked spell when you die. Which can be linked to stuff like the Summon Phoenix which harms all enemies with Fire and revives dead party members.

Both TG relics in the same fucking half price, and both are god damned dupes. Spent 100 in FFT banners and got jack shit, then pulled OSB and BSB in the Combat nightmare for another 100 and now I pull them a-fucking-gain.

I was having a pretty bad time around the port where you have to sneak onto the Shinra ship. that and all of the fucking minigames (squatting and marching in particular) ruined a lot of the enjoyment for me, so I'm glad to see it's finally picking up.

If your mercedes got her axe already and dual wield, all you need is a dual wielding rain. Equip mecedes with her axe and the thunder hammer from the ff3 event or some other lightning equip, rain with air knife and holy blade or excalibur, or some mix of that. All you need is 2 healers, dispel, mag break in some form, and a way to recover mp. I had fuckall natively besides Edea SSB++ throwing shit(or +++, don't remember if reforge was a thing then), Irvine DEF/RES down SB and Rinoa with Curaga and Haste and Selphie with shared Regenga and shared Medica. This is my mage team set up for the XIII event. If you have the trinity native, you can really fill in whatever you want for two mages and they'll provide enough dps. I keep OK/Ysh/Vanille and rotate out the mages depending on what element/series I need. I usually RW something with good breakdowns (ie. Faris BSB) if it's a big damage dealing boss, or if I can get away with it just pick another mage BSB. In the latter you can kind of eschew wrath, since if you RW with both mages they should get enough meter to stay in burst mode for the rest of the battle.

That said, if you really want an OP mage team, consider trying for those Raines claws, stackable magic boosts make for crazy damage output

You know how Barrage attacks four times at 80% value? Like that. The total value of Barrage is 3.2x, sure, but it's parsed four attacks of 80% value. I was wanting clarification that Twin Lance makes you perform two attacks at 50% value, therefore not actually increasing or decreasing your damage.
