Minerva's easily one of the best green fliers, though. Camilla's a lot better for killing mages, but she can't hit or tank as hard against physical threats and also has a underwhelming BST.

Cherche can fuck Hectors up good but otherwise she's completely outclassed by Minerva since Minerva's so much faster and her extra tankiness doesn't matter when Minerva can avoid doubles to help make up for it. Belka's just pretty mediocre other than retarded high armor knight tier defense but see the speed thing again.

So basically Camilla's her only competition and the two fill different niches.

Most of the DLC are just things like maps for extra exp/money. There's a few in each game that add to the story but are not really necessary to understand the main plot nor do they further anything in the main plot. There's also DLC to get seals for unique DLC classes.

Sophia's 12 damage greater than his would probably be even less of an issue, since she can't double anything in the game and will never get a Dragon Fang off against anyone, partially because of doubling being impossible. Henry's Ignis would charge faster and add on more damage, and he could concievably maybe double something, or live through enough combat to use it. Sophia's atk would only matter if it was enough chip damage on a high res target to let something else make a kill.
But, you probably have a point in going against them, since the AI will never use henry to attract neutrals and all two of the not-very-threatening green tomes, while Sophia can technically do something in the AI's hands by inflicting 6 damage and then dying.
