Unlike the original trilogy, I think each character is supposed to have a more unique, detailed facial animation set as opposed to the stinted but widely usable animations in the original game.

I think that's the only two, unless they are not showing some (and I don't know why they wouldn't). Isn't some sort of ancient species too that disappeared but you explore their ruins? So it's somewhat offset, not a complete offset.

Andromeda isn't a galactic civilization like in the Milky Way since they don't have Mass Relays, so even if the galaxy is brimming with life you only get to see what's in the Helios cluster.

Given that Bioware decided to make the entire purpose of the Reapers staked on the notion that artificial will always rebel against their creators and displace them, you would think that with all of Andromeda's history and no Reapers artificial life should dominate.

But I guess maybe that Fundamental Principle of the Cosmos only applied to the Milky Way.

What planets will you try to settle first, /meg/?

For me, Habitat 4 is an obvious first choice, because it has a lot of surface fresh water, and appears to be mostly plains. The jungle planets are a bad first choice, IMO, because they could be full of predators that can stalk you easier, and jungles have lots of diseases and allergens in them. The ocean planet is a bad choice, because it would mostly have salt water, and island chains are more troublesome to make a collective settlement with.

After that, my next choice would then be Habitat 5, because the turians and quarians would need its dextro-DNA biomass to survive; and I'm a turianboo.

By the way that doesn't excuse the shit sync on everyone else. Literally skyrim has better eye movement and lip sync and thats not hyperbole.

Characters are permenantly just freaking the fuck out while they talk to you. Eyebrows never move but mouths flap wildly while pupils shift side to side and characters kind of tilt their heads left to right.

Its fucking bizarre and its clear that it's not because of a lack of budget, the people at bioware are just really bad at their jobs. Probably because they are hired on diversity rather than merit.
