The Sonic X comic was at it's best when it incorporated Adventure elements into the story.
Things like in issue 3, where Sonic is running through Emerald Coast to save Cheese, including the killer whale scene.
Or the Chao story where Eggman has a Chao Garden in his base.
Sonic taking Any to Twinkle Park on Valentine's Day.

Had the book played out like a Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 comic with X's elements and name implemented in, it would have been fantastic. But sadly, most of the artists weren't even any good, and Joe Edkins, even though he threw in a few Easter eggs, knew almost nothing of the series. Plus the fact that most of his stories put Chris in the spotlight while Ian's issues did the opposite, making Chris a background character.
I wish Ian had written it from the start.

Taking notes of possible events by SEGA in the future that is in your area and having little money on the side saved up to use on your time off. Usually thats how I do it. If I am able I save my Paid days off til there are events I needed to go to.
That and being part-time and making over $500 helps. 3 12 Hour shifts helps and having 4 days off is golden.

ie. Tails can fly over obstacles and take different routes, Knuckles can smash through rocks and take different tunnels or glide over long distances.

So yeah basically combine SA2's race mode with Boost gameplay and a bit more diversity between the characters so that gameplay doesn't get stale.

SEGA and Nintendo are sucking each others dicks at the moment, but because of SART'S comp nature, it's likely SART 3 will be "Smash Karts" but multi-plat. Implying Nintendo ever grows a brain. It *would* be a huge title and single handily carve out it's own niche of comp racing if marketed right.

Because it's close to Nintendo's latest gimmick, and Sonic team are focusing on other things, they can't organise/oversee the project right now.

If it wasn't for Naugus being a shit, was she justified in her concerns? Everything that makes up a city being in the control of one person is a pretty risky thing, especially considering there are constantly new enemies and older enemies with new schemes showing up. That kind of centralization of power just seems risky to me.

Plus, Nicole has admitted to using her omnipresence to spy on people. She's pretty vague about, but she said something along the lines of "I am the city, I hear things" when talking about people not liking her.

Now, I'm not saying shove a magnet inside her. I'll admit that I actually like Nicole, but I am glad her Orwellian aspect has been toned down post-reboot.

Essentially, Naugus wanted to take over the kingdom. Nicole would be a huge threat to him, so, before he made his first public appearance, he used his magic to make sure the public was afraid of Nicole. His magic could completely destroy the nanomachines that made up the city, so, once the public saw that, they saw a figure who could protect them from Nicole. There was also an ill-timed attack by Eggman where the city defenses that Nicole controlled failed, but Naugus was able to help fend off Eggman. This basically gave him rousing public approval, despite being an evil wizard that everyone knew was evil.

Ian Flynn has loosely hinted the idea of Sally and Nicole being lovers in the reboot (their connection is emphasized a lot more strongly than before). I think wanting them to click more than they do is why the reboot changed some stuff like making it so you have to insert a Ring to project her form, and making her role a little bit more personal to Sally as just "Sally's computer companion", instead of "an AI that monitors the whole town".

I think no romance for the game cast and nothing beyond cute little fights and moments. I remember people complaining alot that the comic felt more like a soap opera than about Sonic's adventures vs Eggman.

At the very start of Tails' very first adventure, he was very weak, didn't have much speed or agility at all, could only fly for like 3 seconds before tiring out, and his only means of defense were basic bombs. Through the collection of Chaos Emeralds, his flight and health both increase dramatically, and all of the other upgrades on the island as well also make him much stronger, faster, and agile in general, even learning and mastering the Spin Dash before Sonic did. By the time he defeated the Battlebirds, Tails was already a [powerful and strong chaos energy-enhanced supersonic flyer with tons of tricks up his sleeves, only after one adventure, and he hadn't even met Sonic yet. When he does meet Sonic, the hedgehog is actually impressed with Tails' speed and agility, and thus the two become friends.

Amy started out with having no visible physical capabilities at all whatsoever, with her special skills in magic only really manifesting through fortune telling and divination and stuff. But several Sonic adventures later, she eventually learns how to summon the Magical Piko Piko Hammer, and masters it overtime, even using it to enhance her agility to some small degree. After a makeover in Station Square and meeting Sonic again after a long period of boredom, she eventually takes up Boxercise and becomes much stronger and a better fighter, and eventually through her own determination, she gains supersonic speed of her own, making it easier to chase down Sonic, and her mystical abilities and stuff have increased to the point that she can use her hammer to fly and create tornadoes, and can sense Sonic's location, among other crazy things.
