wew, one more decision. I tested things out and looked it up just to confirm and it looks like becoming a Paladin isn't mandatory to beat the game either. That said, first reply decides if I should make Owain a paladin or not.

The default endgame party is Cecil/Kain/Edge/Palom/Porom in this continuity by the way, and the mod author made special sidequests that can be done to get rid of them so you have room to add the others. Looks like he couldn't make it like the GBA version where you can freely switch. If they end up being neat I might post them. A solo run also looks possible unless there's a special condition preventing Cecil from going to the moon by himself, might try that myself some other time

Chapter 13 update details.

Nothing huge this time. In about 3 months we will get much more USBs and they will come with EX modes, for example the most gamebreaking one, Cloud's EX mode is 100% Crit chance; +30% damage and any action you do can break the 9999 cap.
This leads to everyone and their mother RW-ing Cloud USB and handling out appropriate weakness exploiting abilities and doing OSB levels of damage every turn.

After this idiocy come Legend Spheres, which are unlocked from the Record Sphere menu and require 5* motes. Fully Legend Diving a character gives them 2 Legend Materias, which can be equipped only by the character who learned them in conjunction with your normal RM.
Squall, for example gets Spellblade damage up and chance to doublecast Spellblade abilities.

And finally the thing that actually made me lose quite a lot of hype, Legend Materia Relics.
These pollute each banner in pairs and grant a 3rd Legend Materia. On one hand if you have a good SB for the specific character, these are nice upgrades. Alternatively, if this is the only thing you have for the character they are almost like Non-SB relics from days past. They also added these to SSB+ Lucky Draws recently.

And they will be implementing a Magicite system soon, which is from what I gathered something similiar to the summon system in BE.

It's really not that appealing unless you're a new player or lack Chiz for some reason. There should be tons of Noctis on your friendlist and while Gil is nice, other units can serve as a dps as well.

Maybe throw about 10 tickets and a 5k roll if you're desperate, but there's better shit like the FFX banner in the not too distant future.

When my main party became to over leveled for the main quest i switched to newer weaker guys

At level content still requires actually playing the game and planing

Anyway for me the game started as a curiosity and a fun time waster however after some lucky pulls it got me hooked

Its by no means a great game but it offers a odd mix of a gamblers high and feeling of progress due to loot
