As the guy who made the fucklong posts of complain, the game itself is actually quite decent for a mobile game. I don't think I would've played it for so long if it didn't have something to it.

A lot of the problems I mentioned are more high end pvp issues rather than inherent base game flaws. You won't see them until you actually get to high end pvp or gw which is for the most part avoidable.

Like horrific pvp balance that incredibly favors whales is only a problem if you actually pvp.

As a game it's still an incredibly grindy Korean mobage, but the gameplay is tolerable and it has infinitely useable auto.

You'll probably enjoy the game for a while, but you're eventually going to hit a point where the grind becomes insane and a realization it's impossible to match top whales without whaling just as much in return. And the whaling deals are awful in this game.

You'll be fine as long as you don't get too attached or concerned about matching players in pvp.

I felt like doing this so here's my experiences after playing Tagatame for a whole month. Keep in mind these are my impressions as a relatively new player that started when it was being shilled here so it might be wrong.

First of all, the thing about you needing whole 75/85 teams to do EX or the hardest content is a huge lie. I was worried I wouldn't be able to do shit for a long long time but I was clearing EX stuff w/ continues at the end of my first week and cleared the easy ones with all stars completed by the end of my third.

Its less of a level issue and more of a character/job issue. Most of these stages ask you "Do you have a character/job that can deal with these enemies?" and of course, if your answer is no then the game will happily reply with a "Lmao get fucked" and you'll be unable to do that stage until you can get something for that stage. If you do though then you'll most likely be able to clear unless its one of those balls to the walls hard EX stages like EX7 that I assume that are designed for real endgame players.

Starting with a strong carry character (Zain/Autima and maybe the new Basini guy) is super important because you want to kickstart your account and start clearing harder content immediately because the "Early game" consists of farming story and other boring auto-tier stages as fast as possible.

Gem gain hasn't been bad this past month. I was able to roll a lot in anniversary, spend gems on a ton of stupid shit I shouldnt have spent on, rolled the new gachas after that and I'm back to like 7k gems now. I did buy that $5 pack that has 100 gems a day to grab the cheap pick tickets when the anniv deals were going on so that definitely helped a lot.

Rates haven't been too bad either, I've managed around three pages of 5* units (Including free and evolved 3/4* units here) and i'm at the point where I have TOO many people to farm so I have to focus on a select few to farm/grind so I can have AP to farm events and stuff.

The free characters are pretty good too. Rena from the anniv event helped me with some stages, Kanon/Kagura are a pain in the ass to farm (Kanon being way more annoying to farm than Kagura) but are great characters and there's that merchant girl in the event going on which should help a lot in some stages.

If anyone is going to start or wants to start for the disgaea collab then I'd say prioritize getting strong carry characters first then get strong damage dealers in every element. Supports are very important too. Illusionists are really important, especially the fast ones and units like professors will save your ass more than once.
Ranged honestly doesn't feel too good so avoid picking them from tickets if you have the choice. They're good for autoing stages and burning through story but outside of that, you wont be using ranged units in your main teams for a really long time. I know these get better at their sniper jobs but most have it at 75, meaning that it'll be a while til me or other newbies get there.

I went in with my expectations real low after playing the disaster that was the launch of this game and was pleasantly surprised because the gameplay is really nice once you get the hang of things and its pretty fun to be able to move around and play a Disgaea-like game on my mobile device. Haven't run into the classic gumi issues so far and I've been honestly enjoying myself a lot here.

It also has real time multiplayer where you tackle co-op stages or PVP. I want to try these with /mbgg/ if more people get into the game because i've been craving for a multiplayer game where I can play with other people and have fun with other people instead of playing mostly single player games.

Think that should cover everything or most of the stuff people would ask about a game.

It really hasn't been that bad.

At first I thought it'd take me fucking forever to save up for shit after they lowered the daily gem gain but there's a lot of gem gain sources from other places like co-op missions, single player missions and the new daily missions to prepare for collab that give you an extra 100 gems and a collab ticket on top of the normal 50 gems.

So far, it looks like gumi knows how to manage their game. It feels like it would be a lot more enjoyable or friendly if you're a casual spender with some disposable income (Around 10~20 dollars a month) but its definitely possible to do things as F2P since i've played as a F2P player only spending on that pack thing I mentioned to take advantage of that offer they were doing back then and don't plan on spending anything else.

The trick is to catch yourself some Autima supports and do it yourself. If you find yourself some supports then MA the enemies in front of you then sleep the Waginao (The ghost in the corner that screams YAMEROOOO when you kill him). Proceed to sleep him then pound him with a strong light element character (Yes Zain works wonders here).
Note that he'll wake up if you hit him and don't kill him so you'll have to sleep him again or pray to RNG that you can win that 45-50% hit chance to hit him. If you do kill him then that will automatically end the stage and count as a win to you. Repeat this process around 5~10 times and you should have a 3* staff and an Autistic mage ready to MA some bitches.

Just start joining random coop rooms with a good character and adding any Autimas (Or other good supports you see) and then use him to sleep the ghost when one adds you to kill it in his sleep. Your attacks wont miss if he's asleep so that's the whole point of putting it to sleep.

I think the sword in the guild tab of the shop is the only thing you can get specific to the guild war event. Otherwise it's just regular guild tokens for the regular orb shards, tickets and mana pots. Tutorial is pretty short. Could see it getting annoying with all the clicking though.

Gacha has 3% rates. Get a tutorial roll(rigged?) and start with 32 gems. Single roll is 5 gems.

Gameplay requires little to no thought compared to Carnaval.

Only 3 SSR in gacha and they are all guys. Knowing bandai expect massive powercreep once they release UR in a couple months.

Probably best to just wait until later and see how it's doing before you bother trying it.

You'd have to use a full bar every 5 hours to never be at max stamina since they changed it recently. Even more if you're not done with all of the current main story chapters. Accept the fact that you're going to end up at max stamina often and that's alright.

I don't know how long you've been playing, but typically if you're at the point where you're trying to clear the coin pacts you probably haven't leveled & job unlocked all the adventurers that you have. Consider doing that starting with the ones that look like they might be useful. You can spend stamina on hunt zones to gather materials for job unlocks or metal zones to level them up. We've got Metal King 5 & 6 coming to the arena soon, so you could also farm metal tickets in chapter 6-8. Take a look at what bonus drop day it is, and farm job unlock weapons and recode materials on those days.

You can also farm the Kino bosses in the arena for trading post animata items, or if you have a negotiator you can try to farm the Kino Monsters to 100 luck. With a negotiator you can also farm some of the early chapter monsters out of the SB pact, since each one you recruit that way saves you 3k coins.

I played Crystal a while back. City builder with focus on pvp. No gacha. There are heroes you use to lead expedition armies or to fight raid monsters, and there is a equipment system for them. You pick one of the starting heroes and grind others that appears on rotation.

Game has something of a pvp focus. Every city on a server is on the same large map, and you can fight other cities with the army you build. Guild allows cities to band together to fight raid monsters snd other cities.

Game is kind of fun for a bit but is really just a clicker game in disguise. Your goal is just to build snd upgrade stuff to build and upgrade faster and make numbers go up. PvP element is forced onto you unless you buy shield, which you will not keep up past a week without spending real money. IAP for heroes, resources, hero equipment upgrade, town boost, and player icons.

DG CH2 needs a Sheena friend instead of Gil. You could try someone with dispel if you have them too.

The diablos will cast a def buff to make their def super high to the point where only water will be able to kill them so a strong water damage dealer like Sheena is required. You could also try a poverty option of bringing in an Enhancer to dispel their buffs and pound them normally too but I used the first one.

Only really takes like 2~3 weeks to start tackling hard content assuming you do things optimally. Most stages/maps depend on you having a specific char or a counter to the enemies there over having a team of 75/85 stuff.

Like Gilgamesh isn't going to do shit in a map with two fire Diablos and Autima is going to be painfully useless in a map full of Lightning units.

Use the free diamond summon asap, you only get it once every 30 hours. 3* is the highest rollable rarity, but all heroes can be 5* with enough souls. Momiji is a good ranged hero, especially for PvP. Niji is a fine tank until you can get Luca. It looks like the summon I meant is over, so just roll beginner support step 2 for the guaranteed 3* hero.

After that, see if you can put together a basic team of 3* heros, generally 1 ranged, 2 magic, 1 melee DPS, and your tank. You can get a ton of diamonds from arena and your first 100 connect battles will give 50 diamonds each. Don't move to a higher arena group, it just makes it harder to keep your rank for daily diamonds.

Anyone still play Panzer Waltz? I am in need of help:

I just made it to chapter 22 and I'm facing a huge wall in difficulty now. I can't do better than a B and the special I can only get A on at best. Does anyone know how I can change my team to do better? I also have an IS-2 sitting in the hangar waiting until I get enough N6s to upgrade her engine and armor (do I just get the most expensive ones?).

Which stage in 22, 22-4?

I assume you're being cockblocked by the fact it's Dirt Plains which means your DPS is the most lacking part. As no chassis in the entire game has both Rear and Broad, your DPS is going to get slashed one way or the other.

You're also running a single tank(meatshield kind) setup so you might be taking too much damage as well since KV-2 can only hold so much aggro.

T-60 is a good choice for Scout due to her wet engine, but her Quickfire ammo means she can do decent damage so replacing the Active Detectors(these are actually always crap for the most part and not really that useful for extra scouting since the amount is small) with Rammers might work out better.

Regarding your SPGs, you might just want to go all in on them for more shots. They're the only two tanks you have with 4k+ range on that roster and out of range shots do jack for damage. You'd also want to go all in on Rammers and counterrecoils as their Penetration is getting slashed anyways. SU-100 and Firefly would get replaced with 2 more SPGs or an SPG and an off-tank.

I was thinking there may have been some theme related to the VA's work in other games. The Halloween Urara looks a LOT like Knight Charlotte in shironeko and both are voiced by the same VA. That's the best "general use" formation.

I assume you have been entirely ignoring the terrain system for the entire game you've been playing so far.

22-4 is Dirt Plains, the Shelling Stage occurs at 4k range so any tank with less range than that will either miss its shots or do far less damage due to the PEN debuff that scales with the range difference.

Only SPGs consistently sport 4k+ range shells and none of your non-SPGs have 4k+ range.

You're getting to the point in the game the terrains matter and the last few volumes in the story have some extremely cockblock maps, 24-4 being Dirt Streets, one of hardest terrain types in the game.

What I meant about the Penetration is that Dirt Plains will debuff both Penetration and Firepower depending on where your tanks have Rear or Broad on their chassis respectively. There is no chassis in the game with both. Your SPGs have drastically debuffed penetration, your other tanks have drastically debuffed firepower. So instead of putting propellants on your SPGs which will have mitigated effect, put more rammers on them instead.

An extra SPG that can hit in shelling will also make more difference probably as that's 2(or up to 4 if fragment ammo) more shots that will actually hit the enemy tanks for anything significant.

Getting high ranks is a matter of damage first, survival second. You can't A or S rank without doing a minimum amount of damage in the 1st place.

This is a database of all tanks that features every notable detail as well as a handy chart for each tank telling you their compatibility with each terrain. The terrains tab at the top leads to listing for tanks by terrain suitability.

For what is needed with each terrain and what happens if you don't have it I'll list out. Also I was calling the Angled Attribute Broad, Broad was actually the debuff name. You want Angled chassis to counteract it.
