Only time I can think it doesn't matter so much is if it forces you play though a single heroine first and then unlocks the rest once done (like koichoco). Most of the time when specific routes are locked they are locked for a reason, either due to the reader having lack of context or spoilers for other routes.

Normally I don't include linecount anymore, but this time it's a nice stat.

I probably don't need to tell you this, but if this were the Yukino route, we'd be done at this point.

We're aiming to have the Runa TL done by next weekend, and release the week(end) after that.

It's also worth mentioning that Trip and I are enjoying Runa route a lot more than Midori's.

If we can keep going at this pace, then a patch a month is not entirely unreachable.

That would mean that the full patch would be somewhere around June.

We've also decided on the route order for the remaining girls, we'll tell you when we release Runa's route.

Also, please remember that Runa is only for kissing through video chat.

Well, it is a charage, the whole story is driven by character development so it makes sense they spend a lot of time with run-off-the-mill daily life scenes which I agree dragged on quite a bit. I've downloaded the second TW game but that is deemed impossible when >doing it for free.

Short gist of it is this

To give you an example in English; if I were to write "How are you doing?" then there's a file with

Repeat for caps. There's an xml file included which points to the location of each character in the file.

Then when LINE renders the message, it looks at the file and asks the XML where the character it needs is located, and grabs it from said file.

Now if it were a western game it might have been doable, but as I said, there are over 140 of those index files, with pretty much all kanji (or close to idk I didn't check).

Hence it's practically impossible for us to translate the conversations in the LINE app, and it probably plays a big part just like in Hatsukoi.

Hope that made sense, if not, just ask me for clarification.
