Some people in a /v/ thread were talking about how at some point (either flash back or diaries I don't recall which) Zelda mentioned there being five divine beasts. We'll likely get a new beast dungeon, town, map area and race. As well as the obligatory mini story leading up to entering the beast.

Now I'm trying to think though, what friendly races aren't already in botw? I can only think of obscure ones I know won't get in, like subrosians or minish.

Maybe it'll be dekus? Kind of redundant with koroks but still more likely than anything else.

Sheikah don't have their own mech, nor do koroks (which is far more understandable, given the sheikah built the things in the first place), though. And Hylians don't but they're the "normal" race that gets the honour of bearing link and zelda so I doubt they'd get one. My guess if there's a fifth divine beast is that it would belong to a sheikah champion. paya :^)

Breath of the wild is really good but not a whole like the rest of the series gameplaywise. Twilight princess is like a better ocarina of time and that's one of the most beloved titles. Majora's Mask is or maybe was my favourite in the series and also just out of videogames in general, I need to distance myself from launch novelty before I make the call on whether BotW is better. Twilight princess has an hd remaster version for the wii u as well as the original on gamecube and wii, ocarina and majora's were both originally on n64 and got remakes for the 3ds that fix almost all of the flaws that made them age poorly (though there are a few dubious changes in the direction of casualisation to the MM version especially), breath of the wild is on wii u and switch.

So what are the points of interests in hyrule castle? I don't want to miss ANYTHING. I got the memory in zeldas workshop, didn't get the thing for either of the two quests I have yet. I'd recommend starting with Ocarina of Time. It's not my favorite 3D game but it makes a great place to start the series. It also gets referenced in the other gsmes more than any other title, and is basically the central pillar of the series's lore at this point.

Honestly though all of the 3D games are good to great except Skyward Sword which is dog shit. You can really start with any of them, except maybe Majora's Mask which is best played after oot.

OoT is balls if you go back and play it now, unless you have nostalgia for it that overshadows the actual quality of the game you probably won't enjoy it. However it started the cookie cutter dungeon setup (at least in how almost every 3d game would follow) and set up a lot of story for later games to build on so maybe it's worth checking out.

MM has maybe one of if not the coolest world/story, along with interesting mechanics you won't find elsewhere. However, it has a lot of annoying crap with the time changing but if you're ok with that it's an enjoyable experience.

Windwaker will either be one of your favourites or least favourite, it seems pretty divisive. It's sort of open world but not really as you drive around on a boat in a huge ocean. Moves kind of slow but dungeons are good

Twilight Princess is fucking loooooonnnnggggggg. Tons of stuff that personally made me go "come on hurry the fuck up" including boring wolf link sections and the beginning which seems to last forever. However because of it's length it's a very "epic" experience and allows itself to go very in depth with it's story. Stay the fuck away from the wii version.

Honestly BotW is probably the best 3d zelda yet. It's an open world game without being a shitty boring one, it was made for a fucking long time so every tiny spot on the world map feels filled with at least some kind of detail, and there's tons of exciting crazy things you can do. It feels a lot less point A -> B and more just have fun doing whatever.

He has three phases if you don't complete all of the divine beast quests. It's a bit weird. I think they should have kept the boss rush for phase 1 and then had him get assblasted in phase 2 as a reward for finishing the divine beasts (in addition to the abilities which seriously shit on him and even break central mechanics of his fight). Dungeons being optional and skipping them being hardmode is super cool, only getting the authentic final boss experience if you DON'T do the story is... weird.

Depends on the Guardian, not all of them drop Cores, take a photo and check the compendium to check if it does.

And if you have the mastered the ART OF SHIELD COUNTER then it is probably faster to just slaughter every guardian at Central Hyrule and the Castle the Save Scumming.

I think the Turret Guardians have the best Core/Large Core Drop Rate for the record, could be wrong though but that's my own experience.

Easily, EASILY the strongest link in canon so far.

Not just random kid chosen by fate, a kid trained his whole life for combat AND chosen by fate. Master of all forms of combat included mounted combat and archery, came back from the dead with no memories and considerably weakened but still completely able to kick major ass.

Broke the master sword at the peak of its power which completely fucked it, found it again 100 years later and while it denied him he said fuck that shit and pulled it out of the stone anyway.

This Link is strong, fearless, extremely skilled and athletic, charismatic and beautiful as either sex.

I'm not even memeing here, This is the Master Link to which all others aspire to be.

Decayed guardians absolutely do not drop cores of any sort.

So boulder breaker gives best base damage to durability, savage lynel sword and savage lynel crusher give you best possible damage to durability ratio however.
