I haven't seen any Saberfag deny this. Saber understood Kiritsugu very well, to the point HE was butthurt she was empathetic with him after Diarmuid was killed. He stormed out absolutely buttblasted about her "You wanted to be a hero of justice, don't ya" question. They are alike, but their methods of fight in were different. Arturia is a chivalrous knight who fights the enemy head on and Kiritsugu is a cutthroat mercenary/hitman. That's where they clash, but essentially they are similar in their natures. They were nice/softheartened people who had to kill their hearts for the greater good. They even have to kill their own family and have a half incubus/succubus silver haired mentor/parent figure who want to fuck them. You can see there are is one particularly curious thing that influence how much a character earns besides the character in itself.
Look at the chart, you can see it goes up and down at intervals, it is after a time of drought that a character reaches high earnings, the character released afterwards almost always suffers a decline unless some decent time has passed.
Of course there are exceptions like Enkidu after Rin who made pretty well despite being almost right after, or Medb after Iskander who did terrible despite a decent time of nothing being between them, but generally you can see a pattern.

To put it simple, money is not infinite, people can't spend on GO nonstop as much as it seems they can. It is probably the reason we are getting so much time of nothing this year in-between new rate ups. They figured that releasing things with more time between them will give them more money at the end, which means this will keep going since it seems to work based on the last rate ups. They will put some long time between rate ups so nips can have enough money to waste again.

The reason Saber uses the motorcycle in Zero is because it would waste a ton of energy to chase after Alex on foot, so they can all seemingly move that fast or faster, but doing so would lead them to run out of energy for a fight.
